I know mlp is not meant to be brutal or violent, but I think at least one fight scene in the upcoming movie would be very interesting. So like twilight againts tirek in season 4. Maybe the mane 6 against the villian or the princesses against the villain (or even everypony of them). Just write what you think about it down here :)

There will be a fight scene. I dont think we will spend the whole 1 hour and a half just to see ponies sing some songs and happily hugging each others... THERE WILL BE A FIGHT  :=:

Fight scenes without anypony dying. I actually kind of don't want any characters to die in the movie. I know death can be a powerful plot device, but it won't happen. Every movie has the 'low point' and I don't think MLP 2017 will go too far.

As long as the fight scene makes sense. I don't want them to just show horn in one for the sake of it. Fight scenes are pretty easy to put into anything, but if it feels forced, the action just comes off as bland because of it IMO.

Of course, i just want some really intense fight scenes  :orly: No one dies of course, but the death implication need to be there to make the fight more intense.

The battle between Twilight and Tirek was awesome.  Mostly because it was the first time such violence was used on the show, so it was quite the surprise.  I mean, Twilight getting hurled against a mountain...Whoa!  Having said that, I don't think they should include fights for the sake of fighting.  It has to make sense, and that's where Hollyweird falls short.  Because this'll be a theatrical release, Hasbro knows it'll have to step up its game.  Maybe even go CG?  Hope not.  Anyway, how they do that has to make sense.  I hope Faust will actually have a meaningful say as to what happens.

Meh, I'll be fine without it. It's an extra treat, but MLP fight scenes are often too choppy, like a match of Injustice. Suspension through dialouge...man. They have great voice actors.

I love a good duel as much as the next person (hell I dream of shooting lighting bolts from my face) but I don't want it to cost the show it's fidelity. Something along the lines of what's already happened would make the movie interesting. But, as was said, it can't just come out of nowhere. It needs to make sense; not just be there for the sake of being there.

The best fight scene we've had was the final battle between the Rainbooms and the Dazzlings, if the movie can't tip that I will be disappointed.

I like that fight better than Twilight vs Tirek... It was fun, but felt like they just copied a fight from  Avatar The Last Airbender.

The fight with the sirens just has the perfect music, composition, 3 on 7 battle and tension for a fight.

  • 2 weeks later...

If it's a fight scene along the lines of what we saw back in the season four finale, then I'd be up for something like that to happen in next year's movie.

Well, I'd think the fights won't be so over the top . I think using another MLP Ball Z would feel like a cheap call back in a movie which should be fantastic in it's own right  >_>

The part of that battle that went full-on Dragonball Z did overdo it by a large margin, yet I prefer the more subdued portions where Twilight and Tirek were testing each other out to gauge their respective power. Perhaps they could do what was done in the Cutie Re-Mark Part 2 where Twilight and Starlight had an intense magic duel between one another.

I just hope is far more elaborate and desperate. Also excluding the depiction in shots only like late in the battle. I want a full-fledged fight

There needs to be at least ONE fight scene that outdoes the S4 finale fight scene; I mean, its the movie: If you can't outdo it HERE, then you never will :P

On that note, I'd like to get ONE good fight scene for dash, the only real fights she's ever had was the Bad timeline (essentially a throwaway one about the situation), her in her dream fighting changelings (comedic) and her in the Changeling fight scene.

Give us a nice aerial fight.
