ponykittylonelygirl 73 November 3, 2016 Share November 3, 2016 A weird question, but why do you think there aren't very many green ponies? Is it seen as an unlikable colour? It's actually one of my least favourite colours, but for some reason I've decided to decorate my living room with elemtents of blues and greens, and I wanted to maybe get a little pony or something to put on my sidetable, but upon searching I've realised their aren't any green ponies. Think about it: Red - Big Mac, Sunset Glimmer Yellow - Fluttershy, Sunset, Apple Bloom Blue - Rainbow Dash, Princess Luna Orange - Apple Jack, Sunset, Scootaloo Pink - Pinkie Pie, Flutter, Cadence Purple - Twilight, Starlight, Spike White - Rarity, Princess Celestia, Flurry Heart Where is the green? I knew there had to be one. Most of the background ponies seem to be one off ponies, that appear once and never return, I knew there had to be at least one 'core' pony that was green. Not sure how I feel about buying a Granny Smith for my table though... There's actually a lot of green in the Apple family. XD heh, for some reason, i think its just harder to make them look good. as someone that really really REALLY wanted a green pony, finding a way to make it not look like shit was really hard. I'm mostly satisfied with how it ended up, but the process was non-trivial. yeah, there are a few green ponies in the show, but it woudl be hard to make a case for any of them being the most aesthetic ponies. Curious how people notice the lack of green ponies c: Anyway, looks like the colour green is typically associated with earth ponies (just look at the Apple family photo). I can't think of a single green pegasus... One that's just as obsessed with humans as we are with ponies? C'mon! LYRA! Now, sure, fine, I guess, whatev, granted, Yeth. One COULD say she's more of a turquoise or sea-foam. But that's still green in MY book! And she's a green unicorn too! That's definitely not something I've seen repeated! Green is my favorite color! Well, okay, Pink is, obviously, but out of the NINE favorite colors I have I reeeally like the color green! In someone else's honest opinion I find that green is one of the few colors you can't go wrong with. Unlike black, red & even occasionally white you can't really go too dark or concentrated with it like one tends to with pony creator OCs. It's a very calming color, even at its darkest, heck, mix it with enough black until you get an army green olive color & I still think that would be a very earthy & natural look for a pony. Well...unless gradients, any gradient and it looks nauseating. Lyra & Treehugger are some of my favorites because of how well they integrate green into the pony palette. Not Granny Smith though...can't look at her without thinking she's an offensive old person stereotype. Though do have to admit she was drop dead gorgeous in her youth! 2 Beatings & Salivations Everybeing! Creativity is something blatantly important to me as is no doubt evidenced by the 28 OCs I have posted here of the some forty plus I have, they're linked altogether at the bottom of my About Me page in my Profile & I would deeply cherish anything you wish to say about them! Among which of those I am proudest most of is my Draconequusona, His/My Ask Thread and my Hydra, Gallimaufry or "Mauf" and their own Ask Thread!
