How long would you like the movie to be?

I personally want it to be nearly 3 hours long. There's so much that could be put into it that an average length (90 minutes) just wouldn't be enough.

Three hours might be a bit too long given the animation technique they plan on using, and how it takes upwards of a year to complete just a regular episode using flash. Maybe two hours would be suffice as that would be longer than any Equestria Girls movies, and they would still have plenty of content to include to make it a satisfying experience.

Ummm honestly, I wouldn't want it to be Equestria girls length (>1hr20mins) besides Rainbow Rocks which would be fine. 1hr and 30 mins.

I would want it  to be 1hr40mins-2hrs30mins

If it was too long I feel like that might be a challenge for the writers to keep interesting the whole time but who knows.

I think between 80 and 100 minutes is a good length. That's about four episode's worth of screentime, so it's plenty to tell a whole fulfilling story.

2.5 to 3 hours.

 

Anything less than 1.5 hours (60:30), would be too short for such a major event as this. The whole world's eyes will be on this movie once it comes out. It won't be a wimpy, limited release like the EQGs were.

 

 

Then use all this extra time to draw out the battle scenes, elaborate on build-up and character interactions, and draw out musical scenes.

Probably, about an hour and half.

Do remember, the show is mainly focused on little children. Short attention spans is something to take into account.

 

Anyway. They could make something the length of lotr. Totally fine by me.

This isn't the EG films so it will be likely in that 90-110 minute range.
