Lol, but villains are cool tho. I'm not American, but I find him interesting. Castle Bleck 19,361 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) He certainly has the potential to start getting us back out of the hole that Obama's spent the last near-decade digging us into (and that Hillary would've only deepened that much faster). Guac 25 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) who knows? all we can do now is wait. wanting him to fail is not a good mindset as of now. it would be like hoping a new pilot you don't like personally, crashed the plane you were on.edit - a better question: can we come together hope that he does so? Sir Cal Stonehoof 596 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) I am a proud Trump supporter. Go ahead and call me a deplorable if you want, it doesn't bother me.I think the President Elect will do a good job when he gets into office. He's being reasonable with what he wants to do about illegal immigration, the southern border, and Obamacare. He's already said he's not going to overturn Marriage Equality, and he just may leave Roe v Wade where it needs to be (But we won't know until we see his appointees for the Supreme Court), and even then it would be a long shot. Not to mention that as soon as it was announced he is going to be the next President, World War 3 was averted. Russia, wants to be friends again. Syria wants peace. Israel wants to improve our relationship again. So yeah.. I do have faith in the 45th President. Whether you like it or not, history has been decided. A non politician holds the highest seat of power in the free world. He completely punked the Republican party, just so he could get a shot at Presidency. More women, Blacks, and Hispanics voted for him than Romney in 2012. So the claims he is sexist, or racist, really weren't an issue with those people. So I think people need to give him a chance. When he made his acceptance speech, he was clear that he was going to serve everyone. So yeah I'm ready to get to work, and do what I can bring back prosperity to this country. If that makes me a nationalist, then I guess I'm guilty. Because it's not a bad thing, despite what you've been told. CharlesT 24 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 Common-sense financial policies, strong support of law and order and an emphasis on border security and immigration reform. Yeah, I'd say there's a pretty good chance he will MAGA.

Kaneki 1,073 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 What would those reasons be, if you don't mind me asking? I'm just afraid of someone going overboard reacting (getting violent, threatening/trying to kill me, etc) if I say I'm OK with how the election went. I know it's probably a stupid reason, but I feel like it's a real possibility that some nut would try that with someone.

It definitely seems that most Hillary supporters are complete nut jobs; but, then again, you'd have to be nuts to vote for a corrupt, Satanist career (and war) criminal like Hillary Clinton. CosmicSpark 2,120 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 Well, it depends who he puts in his cabinet, and what he means "Make America great again". What we also have to keep an eye out is what allies he gets rid of, cause that is an indicator on how great america will be. This is just a thought, but I don't think he will do a great job 1 Ask Cosmic Spark
Twiggy 2,966 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) So do you like Trump? Yes. Or the fact that he won the elections? Very much. I got to be smug for a week. And now what? Will he make America great for real? I believe he's going to give it his all, which is something that can't be said for most Presidents in recent years. It's an uphill battle for sure. I was wondering how many of you guys can call yourself Trump supporters? I remember the first thread in the Debate Pit about Trump. If I remember correctly, I was the first person to voice support for him on the forums. Envy 6,167 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 When ever has America been 'great'? It's always been a flawed nation, holding down women and minorities. I can not call a nation that can't even get treatment of women and minorities correct 'great'. I can say for certain that Trump and his ilk's idea of 'great' directly opposes mine. He will NOT make America great. One can only hope that him and the Republican controlled House and Senate will not do too much damage. 6 Everything needs more woodwind! simba86 1,541 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 trump will probably try to make america great again but the media will never support him and it will be 4 years of the Politically correct biased media calling him racist and ignoring what good he might try to do. just like this whole election cycle where they attacked him 24/7 and took everything he said out of context and tried to make him look like the leader of the KKK. 10 It's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees! Kings&Hooves14 616 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 (edited) NO. I felt my stomach and heart pool into my feet when I saw that Trump won the election. I think we're royally screwed; not only is Trump racist, sexist, nationalist, and pretty much any other 'ist' you can think of, he's just too RICH. I'm not saying that wealthy people are inherently bad--not in the least--however, I believe it should be illegal for someone with such an insanely high net worth to run for the highest office in the country. The unfortunate truth is that money is power. A rich president can bribe and blackmail much more easily than a less wealthy individual. I kind of feel like a man on death row--I'm just fearfully awaiting the end. Edited November 17, 2016 by Kings&Hooves14 2 The Brony Code: Humans are a lie, there are only ponies. Anneal 2,197 November 17, 2016 Share November 17, 2016 We are living in what was one of, if not the biggest, upset in American political history whose effects will be felt not just in the US but across the world for potentially years to come. I understand hoping Trump stuff would go away but the last time America got a new president was 8 years, and considering how polarizing Trump is(mostly perceived) I'd be expecting more threads to come, especially in the early months when he actually takes office. I certainly do hope Trump makes America #1 again, I hope every president succeeds in that. Politicians have been failing us on that for quite a few decades now, perhaps a non-politician is what America needs. We'll certainly be finding out. I have nothing against Trump threads that actually encourage some sort of political discussion. I just have issues with threads that do not inspire any sort of constructive discussion posted all over the place (for God's sake, there's one in Sugarcube Corner of all places). If it was something like "What do you think of Trump's 100 day plan?" or "What made Hillary lose?", then I'll gladly participate in a discussion like that. But I don't see how topics like "Would you move to Equestria if Trump became president?" or "Would Trump make America great again?" or "Is Trump racist?" is going to go well. Most of these topics are loaded so they can get people of the same side as them to make comments that agree with them. That goes for Trump supporters as well. Just seeing these kind of threads makes me want to roll my eyes.

Just seeing these kind of threads makes me want to roll my eyes. That I definitely agree with. On the topic of Trump's first 100 days plan, it's quite ambitious and will obviously not be completed but if he does manage to accomplish some of what he's outlined then I'd say he's on track to becoming a great President. But at this point, with all of his flip flopping(which in some cases I'd say have been good things) who knows what he'll do. I do know however that Pres. Obama wants to get the heck out of there. He looks older and more tired with each passing day.
