Needing help and advice. Please?

I'm pretty new to forums so i'm giving this my best shot.

 

I'm wanting to remix the music from when the fandom was still young, around 2012-2013 area and i was wondering would it still be worth it to remix that music or not. i've have a few friends say do it and others saying "don't waste your time" so i'm stuck in a mental dilemma. should i do it or should i not because i want to really put alot of work into this. i do have one remix i uploaded but other than that ive not posted anything else ive worked on.

 

just needing some advice. maybe encouraging words

I'd even gladly listen to a remix of 'Winter Wrap Up', for example ~ there are no rules for me as long as the remix itself is great! 

Bringing back memories isn't a bad idea at all!

 

PS. To this day, I still listen to the first MLP songs and mixes.

What does that thing "don't waste your time"? If you spend your time while enjoying doing something it doesn't count as wasting.

 

It's better to do something than regret about something you have not done.

Any remixes are cool!!! It doesn't matter from what point of the show. While we are on the subject, where are you planning to get the remix stems? I want to make some remixes, but I don't know where to get the vocals/instrument stems?

I def say go for it!!' The old songs were much better then the songs we have now... (like season 4 and up) I still listen to songs like winter wrap up, at the gala, cupcakes, May be the best pet win etc... and wouldnt mind hearing them over and over again.(espically remixed)

I would love just as much to be guided through the nuances of creating these said remixes or what all it entails. i have invisioned MANY times MLP mixes synchonizing with other trap or edm and even some hip hop chords I have heard.
