What's taking Babs Seed so long to return to the show?

Sometimes I bring up how much I wanna see Babs again in the show, and finally meet the Manehattan CMCs, but sometimes people say that her VA, Brynna, isn't interested anymore, and it's yet to be proven true. On her Twitter, fans say how much they wanna see Babs again, and Brynna likes their tweets. So obviously, this isn't the case. Brynna NEVER said she never wanted to come back to the show. I mean unless somebody has proof that she said she doesn't. 

I really want a Babs episode, just one last time! I wanna see how Babs' life turned out with her cutie mark, and finally meet the Manehattan CMCs for the first time. I really expected to see a Babs cameo in season 4, and I really expected an episode where the CMCs go to Manehattan since season 5! We did see a Babs cameo in season 5 walking along Aunt Orange in Made in Manehattan, and we did get to know that Babs got her cutie mark, but that just raises more questions than answers. Hopefully either this season or next season, we'll get this loose end tied up. I'm sure Brynna would love to return to the show just one time to finish the story that's been started! After all, her dad voices in the show regularly!

So you think we'll see Babs again soon and meet the Manehattan CMCs? If you really think Brynna is not interested, I'd like to see proof of it, because I'm not getting why people are assuming this.

EDIT: Look, even if Brynna really isn't available to do Babs, surely (don't call me Shirley) we would've seen a Manehattan CMC comic or chapter book by now, right? So if it isn't happening on the show, it's gotta be in the comics then!

I was thinking about this recently. Babs was a pretty fleshed out character that would've been interesting to follow up on, and she seems overdue for a return to the series.

Looking out Brynna Drummond's output and age, perhaps she is otherwise busy with school. With her dad's cred and regular voice work on the show, and relative popularity,  you would think she would have returned several times by now. Immediately following FiM she did a main voice in a Peter Pan show, and a Barbie movie that is now over two years old. 

Perhaps she got a taste of the business and it wasn't for her. Maybe school is her focus. I would love to see her return personally, but I'm not sure we will. 

I'm at least glad I have her signature on my Brony Dad cap.

I'm pretty certain Babs Seed won't ever return for the rest of the season. And I'm starting to feel kind of a little annoyed about this "Babs returning" thing.

Besides, Babs is not a very important character. I wouldn't mind just a cameo in The Perfect Pear, but NO MORE after that.

I Think she's dead. After returning to her home, she leaded the CMC manehatan but when she heard the first three got their cuti mark she probably hanged herself in the back of a barn.

Otherwise we'll have seen her again.

I think that little letter with her talking about getting a Cutiemark, was pretty much the writers saying that she won't come back. Also, like Jeric already said, she seems to be incredibly busy with her education and just replacing her with a different VA would be awkward.

You dudes and dudets are so pessimistic. Her story isn't done yet. She's gotta come back sometime before the show ends. Here, if we don't get word of her at all this season, I'll send an email to the developers and see if we can get info on what's happenin'.

If nothing, then they gotta make a comic about it.

Yes, I have, but to me, the background ponies were only important in THAT episode.

She hasn't been seen again because the new writers aren't aware that she exists.

If I recall correctly she (the voice actress) left after season 3, hence why there has been no return. That could be for numerous reasons but in the end, it is such a shame that we may never again get to see Babs, who was one of my favorite characters despite her very short runtime. When the CMC's got the letter about her Cutie Mark, I know right then and there that was the writer's way of telling us that she won't make a return. Unless we get lucky someday.

Babs will definately return in any form, character or cameo, it will happen anyway. Later seasons replied on continuity to create new episode so i am sure they will bring back Babs, and it must be one of the best CMC episode

Face it, guys, Babs Seed clearly isn't coming back. Her voice actress might have retired, like Twist's, and not only that, it's best that the Manehattan CMCs she mentioned just remain mentioned, and therefore are not really that important. It also saves the main CMCs from wasting an episode.

So in conclusion, no matter how much we want her back (especially you, Mega Sean 45), she's obviously NOT coming back. There's only one season left anyway, and I'd rather have the CMCs go to Yakyakistan with Pinkie Pie to solve a friendship problem there as one of their last adventures ever on the show over some lousy Manehattan trip.

I think it would be cool if babs seed came back but it's been a while since she's been on the show. I don't know if she'll ever be in another episode but it would be cool if she did.

Unless they're making a celebratory episode, be it the 200th, or closer to the show finale  (assuming they won't green light a tenth season), I'm not expecting Babsy to return. Reason are unknown, but all points out that Brynna isn't available, and, save a few exceptions, FIM doesn't have the habit of changing voices

Honestly, Babs is my most hated character on the show. Her design and color scheme are ugly, her accent is annoying, she was worse than Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon in her debut episode, and the fact that she never got any punishment whatsoever for her actions really pisses me off. I hope she never returns.
