Hahah, yeah, they pretty much were. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were pretty competitive back then too, and Pinkie Pie? She had been throwing parties a lot back then as well! Fluttershy, well.. Actually, yes... I've been wanting to be a pegasus... Being able to fly through the sky and lie down on clouds... I bet they're very comfortable...

They are, but I still prefer a bed over clouds for sleeping. Flying is cool, but those wings can get pretty annoying and are quite hard to clean. Also Earth Ponies are normally a bit stronger. I would like to be an unicorn though, the magic is so cool.
