I appreciate the principle of hard work. Not only is it good for your body physically, it's also a good mental exercise to push through the challenge. There will always be a little discomfort with hard work so I guess I can't say I like it or don't. It's just there.

It's possible to enjoy hard work; I often wonder at gyms though, given they are effectively places you pay in order to go work hard unproductively (when you could go dig a ditch or something for free or even get paid)

I only like hard work if the reward is worth the hard work. I also like hard work if it's doing something productive.

If hard work is only making you busy and nothing comes out of it, I would drop it.

Uh, well, it depends on what I'm doing, and what the result is. If I work super hard to get a batch of equipment packed up, I'll be really annoyed if I have to unpack it anytime soon.

But in general, I'm okay with hard work. Just as long as there's some end goal.
