spoiler Equestria's China, Egypt, India? AND MORE!

So I was thinking today about the different lands in Equestria, remember that episode Magic Duel, where we were introduced to Haakim and Amira?

amirahaakim.jpg

two delegates from the land of Saddle Arabia, (clearly a reference to Saudi Arabia and the MLP version of Saudi Arabia). Do you think Saddle Arabia could be in Equestria, possibly located near the San Palomino Desert or outside of what is shown on this map? Do you think it is a city, province, county or country? Do you think its partly ruled, fully ruled by Celestia or Luna or completely independent with its very own monarchy and/or government and just has a close relationship to Equestria? A reason why it could be outside of Equestria is because 'Saddle Arabia' is not written anywhere on Equestria's map. I know I sound dumb here. But I'm really not, I'm just trying to ask for people's different opinions.

Image result for latest map of equestriaHaakim and Amira, the two ponies from Saddle Arabia, also look very different to the other ponies we've seen in the series. Their bodies are taller, more slender and look more horse like than the typical Equestrian pony, they look even more horselike with their body proportions than Princess Celestia too. They also do not seem to have cutie marks. Making it seem very likely that these Saddle Arabian "ponies" are a different race of Equine, and therefore from a different land.

In Campfire Tales, which is episode 16 of Season 7, Rarity tells a story about a mare called Mistmane, the scenery shown in this story, looks very inspired by old and traditional China.

*SPOILER ALERT from episodes of MLP Season 7*

I remember Twilight saying something like (in the final episode of series 7) the six Pillars, which are comprised of Starswirl, Somnambula, Flash Magnus, Rockhoof, Mage Meadowbrook and Mistmane herself, came from each corner of Equestria and were just as varied as Equestria, (Twi said something like that, though that wasn't exactly what she said.)

So do you think Mistmane's land (which shows many similarities to Ancient China) is on the map above? and where do you think it could be located? I think it could be located in the Undiscovered West, as the scenery in the tale of Mistmane, showed mountains and greenery. But as China is a far Eastern country, it could be located in Eastern Equestria.

In the episode, Daring Done, which is Episode 18 of season 7, we come across a desert village in southern Equestria called Somnambula, named after the hero of the village and one of the members of the Six Pillars, Somnambula. This village and its inhabitants in the past especially, shows lots of similarity to Ancient Egypt. Even today, the village shows similarities to modern day Egypt. So its like Equestria's and MLP's own version of Egypt.

Do you think there is a land in Equestria that is based off of India, where Coriander Cumin and Saffron Masala come from? (these two ponies appeared in the episode, Spice Up Your Life, which is episode 12 of season 6) And where do you think it could possibly be located on the map of Equestria

latest?cb=20160612203613Saffron Masala (left) and Coriander Cumin (right).

Also, would you like to see more from these places in Equestria?

Thank you for reading and please feel free to type your opinion.

I'm sorry I'm not posting about the topic, but when did it say their names in that episode? Because if those are their names, then that's freaky. One of my best friends is named Amira. :confused:

Personally, I think its very likely that Saddle Arabia is a country outside of Equestria. With how it cannot be seen on the official map of Equestria and with the very different looking equines from this region (Haakim and Amira). It also seems to be pretty distant from Mainland Equestria as well according to the map. Maybe there could also be the existence of an Alicorn Kingdom too! There have been theories that Celestia and Luna came from a land outside of Equestria from YouTubers such as The Brony Notion.

Somnambula is that desert so no, Saddle Arabia is not there. As for Mistmanes kingdom

It is south the the dragon volcano/dragon lands, you can tell based on the asian esque art on the map.

Based in the dialog, it's safe to assume that all of the Pillars came from within the borders of Equestria.

As far as the question on opening up the world to show more new and exotic locations, I would be interested in seeing that. Whether it is outside Equestria or within it's borders doesn't matter to me if the design is well done, and the story surrounding it is decent. I would love to see Saddle Arabia and Maretania and Maretonia.

The dragonlands seem to be considered part of Equestria for some reason, so Mistmanse kingdom qualifies.

The desert I was referring to wasn't the one in the movie (which is outside Equestria) but it is the San Palomino desert near the rock farm

I realize you weren't speaking to me directly, but thought I would clarify.

Yes, usually I don't have a whole lot of time to read a full topic. In this case, I only read the OP and added my general thoughts on the matter.

1) Confirmation that all the Pillar based exotic locales are in Equestria.

2) Design the place well and develop an interesting story and I approve.

3) Here are some places that I would like to see.
