Who is your favorite voice acting talent from the show?

 

(sorry for the huge, somewhat unorganized poll, I tried my best, I'm sure I got everyone :|)

Tara Strong because she did a solid job in Final Fantasy X, and John de Lancie because he's awesome.

Although I respect all of Tara Strong's work, Andrea Libman plays characters that are very different from each other, and demonstrates how strong she is professionally at manipulating her voice.

I voted for Tara Strong... Then deleted my vote and voted for Ashleigh Ball... Why must I have such difficulty deciding who is more awesome... Now that I think about it, Ashleigh Ball, as the VA of Rainbow Dash, should be, by default, more awesome... Why I didn't vote Pinkie's singing voice I have no idea though... Gah! I'll just vote for Ashleigh because she's awesome anyway!

Oh yes, that is one of my favorite aspects of voice acting, when people get to speak for more than 1 charcater. While it might sound hard for people, say in this case Andrea to aphave a certain voice and tone for two VERY different charcaters, when the voice conveys the two charcaters as different as their personalities do, that goes to show you how talented the actress is. :)

 

I also applaud Ms. St. German, she voices the most charcaters in the show, and it is sometimes hard to tell which one's she does, because she just does that good of a job having that many varied voices. For instance, would you ever believe that the same person (Germain) voices the Spa ponies, AND Ms. Cake, AND Grannt Smith, AND Derpy, AND Rarity? Talk about quantity AND quality. :blink:

and also Tabitha St. Germaine, because she does Luna, my other favorite pony/alicorn ^_^

Every one of them is great, but Tabitha does a ton of voices for MLP, so I chose her. Next I'd say Tara Strong, because she's done a ton of other things that I enjoyed.

Yes, but Germain has been given more roles in the show. Honestly most of the voice actors only have a selected amount of voices they are assigned, but do a fine job doing them. I'm very sure most of the voice actors that do any voices can do more, but aren't given the roles. Or maybe they aren't good enough for Germain. ;)

I love them all, but if I have to narrow it down...

 

As a Next Gen fan, I had to give de Lancie props. St. Germain gets a vote based on variety (I love how she spent a good deal of time talking to herself in Green Isn't Your Color). And I have to give a nod to Strong, not only for Twilight, but from when I watched her in Teen Titans. While the characters aren't that dissimilar, she just does them so well.

I love EVERY SINGLE one of them. There is not even one character on this show who has not done an excellent job on his role.

 

I love how Peter New does Big Mac's voice

I love how T. Strong does Twilight's voice

and I really like Fluttershy's voice. Both singing and talking.

The 4 fine ladies who voice the Mane 6 are all great, the singers too. Tabitha St. Germain gets extra props from me though, she does so many different voices and she's great at it. My favorite guest voices would probably be Britt McKillip, John De Lancie and Richard Newman. :)

My favorite voice actors on the show are definitely Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Andrea Libman, and Tabitha St. Germain, but as far as singing goes, I also voted for Kazumi Evans (Rarity) and Michelle Creber (Sweetie Belle singing, and Applebloom's voice actress)... I just love Rarity and Sweetie Belle's singing voices sooooo much!!!! :D

Rebecca Shoichet because I love her singing.

Ashleigh Ball because I'm amazed at how she voices both RD and AJ.

Cathy Weseluck because I'm even more amazed at the difference between the characters she voices.

Britt McKillip because...well...Cadance!

Scott McNeil because I watch Gundam Wing and play Warhammer 40k (hint hint).
