general Keeping Christmas Out Of November

Christmas in November.. I wish I was that lucky. That stuff was up mid-late September here. Either way, the decorations don't bother me any, the constant fueling that it is all about the buying and the shopping bothers me much much more. Dec. 25th is no longer the holiday, the time leading up it apparently is.

Having my birthday on Christmas means I hate celebrating the holiday early. I honestly don't even start prepping/celebrating the holiday until it is a week away from the big date. If I'm being truthful, I've never really enjoyed Christmas all that much. It always seems to be a hard time for my family. Plus I get to share my birthday with a ton of people all over the world, so it isn't as special.

Pardon me, but the title makes me think of... something that's really not appropriate for a kid-friendly forum.
