Hypothetical Question Regarding MLP Forums In The Event Of Generation 5

I'm wondering, if there does end up being a G5 of MLP, does that mean everything G4 related, past, present and future, will end up getting relocated to the Past Generations section? 

Since MLP Forums was built to accommodate G4, what will happen to the site once G4 ends and G5 begins?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think users would still use the "Show Discussion" or "Sugar Cube Corner" section's to talk about Gen 4 .

Or maybe an Show Discussion G4 and a Show Discussion G5.

I'm sure the forum admins and other Poniverse staff could adapt the forums to support Generation 5 while also keeping the G4-related sections alive.

Assuming G5 manages to get a sizable fanbase as well, I'll believe G5 will have their own separate sections of Show Discussion and stuff

Here's the thing: while the older generations certainly do have a fandom, it isn't anything close to the g4 one. With that in mind, I'd assume that the 'show discussion' section will become a 'g4' section. Plenty of stuff will still be posted there, I'm sure. Now, if that happens (which I expect to be the case), then we will also see another completely new section for g5.
