I've been wearing glasses since the age of 5, since I have an astigmatism. I used to be able to have decent eyesight without them, though now everything is just blurry.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

I am 38 years old. I actually have NO memory of a time that I WASN'T wearing glasses. My vision is rather poor. I'm lucky in one aspect. My husband likes girls who wear glasses.

^_^

Update. I'm forty now, and everything else stands!

I remember when I was very little, being yelled at for how I cleaned my glasses. My mom caught me...LICKING the lenses!

LOL!

I don't wear glasses and never have for regular everyday use. I sometimes use reading glasses when I do artwork, but that's all. I would never use contacts because I can't stand the idea of something resting right on my naked eyeball. That sounds really irritating and uncomfortable.

I don't. I would look like a dorky nerd if I did. And I already reached my dorky nerd limit a long time ago. :mlp_icwudt:

I wear glasses.

I like the fact that I can see better and that they have probably saved my eyes from flying objects a few times but otherwise I hate them. Always fogging up, falling off, in the way, dirty, etc.

Contacts aren't an option just due to the amount of dust on a farm...nor do they fit my eyes.

Neither is eye surgery, wrong eye shape and issue and allergic to the idea.

Yes, and currently my glasses are bothering my nose :mlp_wat:

Because you have new glasses?

I have stopped using glasses a long long time ago. It was not necessary to use them.

I got myself a new pair of glasses not too long ago I've had quite a few over the years of course. Multiple brands of glasses ranging from Levis to Netherlands Ozone and of course my current being the Skaga a swedish brand apparently these things always are rather costly. However having had so many glasses it is hard choosing a favorite I have a preference towards the classic look and a decently frame glasses my taste has become geared towards larger frames and larger overall glasses. My current ones being my largest, of course wearing glasses you either hate them or you love them. I personally think it adds a certain elegance to your look and to me they are an accessory that is almost a privilege to be able to use indeed.
