I figured we would do this: There will be an OOC thread for each IC thread as needed. This thread will be purely world building and mechanic discussion. 

Small RPs that don't change the world at large or effect main/faction specific characters don't require input from a faction leader (though it's recommended to discuss it with them for specifics). However, if it's a world changing RP that takes place in another factions area, the player in charge must be present or provide direct input. (thoughts?)

In each ooc thread (advertisement for random players or otherwise) will have a link to our world info so others can take a look. Speaking of which, I think I'm going to go with your idea by throwing it up in google docs for all to look at it in, that or a similar doc sharing site.

Seems reasonable......so people who wanna do a small RP can just do so without asking a faction leader? Just to be clear

Correct, @woodchunks66 . Such RPs would include things like slice of life stuff, something like a dungeon crawl in the wildlands, looking for persons or artifacts, generally anything that does not effect the state of the faction it is taking place in.

Though, I'm not 100% sure on that... perhaps just quick authorization or something with the faction leader? If the faction leader doesn't respond by one week, I decide for them? Let's see what some of the others think, I probably should hold off on a final call for that until we have a general consensus.

The only player we established having a main six character was @woodchunks66 There was never a discussion on any of the other characters (with the exception of what Woodchunks66 and I had in PM

There's no problem if you want to claim her, though there are some rules to playing specific characters.

For all of our future RPs we will have only have ONE person who creates the OOC thread and the IC thread. They will be the GM if needed, and will be the faction leader of that area or in lighter RPs the one who came up with the idea. 

You may discuss things with other players, but if they control a major character or faction, their decision is final in regards to that character or faction. 

If their are details that effect a particular character, the characters player may choose to discuss it or not. If it becomes relevant in terms of the RP, they must explain it to the GM of the RP either IC or OOC. 

If there is a dispute and it can't be solved, I will have the final say!

Well really if you're looking for Techno's personality and character his character profile is linked in my signature! Though for his backstory in this RP I guess we could say that he was raised by the two royal sister until he gained independence and created Troneon while also making himself into a mostly robotic pony.

You have to remember, this is in the far flung future. During the events of the plague, there was a serious population, tech, and magic boom. It doesn't necessarily take place during the era of the show, perhaps a bit after. So there is tech, maybe not quite so advanced, but there is some respectably advanced tech. 

Also, you are correct, if you would like just send the profile link, but I haven't gotten anything from anyone yet. (I'll check sig lines, just remind me it's in one)

Can't give you a full answer now. But I do have my two OCs Unicorn and Changeling Will Guide. A doc with their back story can be found in my signature. And I can alter their back story to fit this RP, if I must.

No worries. We'll expand upon his cities history as we progress. Like some of our other cities, it's origins are somewhat of a mystery. However, it won't be as we develop and continue in our RPs. I guarantee it! Plus, I might fill in some blanks when I get to his part in the lore guide.

Well I guess on my end it would be:

• Princess Twilight: the worn and weary princess trying to create a little slice of normalcy within New Everfree. Always keeping herself busy to distract her from the turmoil outside, the lives she couldn't save and the loss of the life she knew. Every now and then has flash backs of the chaos and carnage from the outbreak. 
• War Master General/ Military Governess Luster Bolt: Equestria's first sentient AI and Equinoid construct. Made from the brain scans of over 1000 ponies, Luster was made to defend the harmony of Equestria and the race of ponykind. but quirks in her personality and programming have caused her to take this a bit too literally, propositioning Equestria go to war and that the nation militarize. She also exhibits soem exaggerated characteristics from her various scans, such as Twilight's lack of stress management and penchant for amazon like violence. Following the collapse, she's turned her adversarial nature into a strength as she fights to rebuild Equestria stronger than ever using her zealot like devotion to her mother Lektra's cause. 
• Ambassador Spike: Having grown into his own, Spike left Twi's service on excursion to fulfill his duties as friendship ambassador, receive training in diplomacy and overall explore the world on excursion. when the plague hit, he was seperated from Equestria for years, choosing to aid the dragon lands and changelign kingdom. when he returned a hardened peace maker, he was both astonished and appalled at how far New Everfree city had strayed from the path Twilight had started, now mostly in control of the totalitarian Lektra and Luster while Twi works as a figure head in the back ground. While not on totally unfriendly terms w/ NE, Spike still prefers to work as ambassador as well as Emperor of the Dragon lands. 
• Blood Eagle Wings: The General of the mysterious storm lands faction to the south, Blood Eagle, a member of the out cast Thestrals, guards her people w/ fanatical devotion, working night and day as the consummate hardened solider, leading hit and run tactics, guarding the establishment of ports and readying her people to fight back against the invading northern 'rust ponies' or reclaimign the land form the 'nanos'.  She is one of the few who seems to never loose control when shifting into one of her nano-beast forms. 
• Gauntlet: The elected 'sovereign' of the storm lands, Gauntlet the Minotaur rose through the ranks as a war hero and motivational speaker, earning the respect of the storm lands inhabitants through the courage and calm he showed in recent decades of war against both pillaging raid and nano horde. He rules with a steady hand. Tough but fair, as he airs on the side on caution and long term planning, hoping to spread his people past their southern island and into the contentment to the north, free from the nano beasts and the iron grip of the ponies who caused the catastrophe to the land.

This is kinda basic, no? Most of this is contained in character profiles, even though some is changed or expanded for this RP

Okay I'm finally home from school! Anyways maybe Troneon was a city that was developed on for hundreds of years and Techno is the latest leader of the city in his family. So really it's sort of like the royal family as it was his parents that made him into a mostly robotic being. Then his parents left the city with Techno in power only for his parents to completely disappear.

Perhaps not hundreds and hundreds of years, but certainly a sort of linage type history. Perhaps it wasn't necessarily passed down in the beginning, but rather Techno's family was a prominent member of the city. After the events of the plague, it essentially became the governance type it is today? Thoughts?

Well really I was thinking that this RP would take place a few hundred years into the future from where the cannon show is now. Well really the city wouldn't of started construction until around a century after the current events of MLP and I guess this RP takes place around 300 years into the future from where the cannon show is.
