I just started saving the ones I liked, mostly because they disappear so quickly.  That, and I'm too senile to remember where I initially saw it.

I can feel thy pain, lief. Those edits and generally all the "broom-in-the-butt" censorship online are ridiculous. Internet must be free (unless somepony promotes terrorism or suicide), besides, everypony still can find anything, if 't be true they are really determined... All those edits simply take away the fun for the majority.

barely started here ,my princess - it's a bank holiday here in the UK, so even less stores are open today than yesterday. On my second cup, but if it gets hot later (as it has all weekend) may see if my local Costa branch is open so I can have multiple iced mocha cortados

Just to remind myself, I went and compared the two "Derpy" instances, and they aren't /drastically/ different, although changing the voice actor is... odd.

Yeah, banks can be a pain in the... plot quite frequently, their software for remote accounting even more... especially with the speed and diligence they update it. Store closed are forsooth a calamity, for the coffee loving pones at double.

Since some weeks we also  have closed shops in almost every Sunday.

Well, I don't know if the Costa will be open or not - while I would not require such of them, I will certainly make use of their dilligence should they be serving.

Not sure if you are aware of the issues around the TSB bank here in the UK - they have had a significant outage in their electronic banking, not helped by the usual parade of idiots (and now we don't just get the idiots who think they know why a country-wide system migration went to pot and how they would have done it better - without ever having been involved in one, of course - but the blockchain idiots who claim none of this would have happened if they had only gone to cryptocurrency...)

It is nice that FiM has kept the same voice actors consistently for this many years - but I suspect if the show does continue, we will eventually have to accept their replacement.  Well, maybe not; I am told that a realtime online conversation can be "spoofed" convincingly, voice AND video, and while that technology would be prohibitively expensive for a relatively low budget production like FiM, I can see voice only being much cheaper without the realtime or video requirements.

Having them closed Monday here too though led to some excessive buying on Saturday - you would think having two days of restricted shopping instead of one would not be a major shift, but apparently it requires denuding supermarket shelves in "preparation".

I'm uninformed about the particular bank issues, but... don't even let me start kicking the cryptocurrency and related... *huffs*Soap bubble. Besides, what they do to computer components market must be a bannable to Uranus crime anyway.

Methinks realtime voice processing must be worth a small fortune, let alone it hardly can be limited to software part only.

Yup. This is close to my specialist subject (although an abuse of same, and don't get me started on the horrible trend of calling it "crypto")

PoW cryptocoin is unsustainable, and blockchain has almost no other use case.

Yes, but low cost, render-time voice processing would cheapen the production of animated features considerably; for now though, real voice actors are still going to be cheaper at the budget level of FiM.

When it comes to closed shops I think that  many depends from point of view. For usual shop worker closed shop means more free time for customer it will be only problem. 

I also really appreciate still the same voices in MLP show. It would be  simply diseaster when for example beautiful Fluttershy's voice would be replaced by the other ones, even if very similar one.

I believe they have enough voice samples during all those years to combine almost anything... Still it's not nearly close to the live acting.
