Hmm, well me and Cyc just use Facebook Messenger or Hangouts to video chat. I don't necessarily have a favorite service....unless he has one.

I'm not exactly sure what 'being in love' means. It is a bit subjective in my opinion. If you mean it along the lines of this: "Have you ever been very strongly attracted to somebody, and thought about them a lot, but they did not reciprocate?"

Then yes.

If you mean it along the lines of this: "Have you and someone else ever been very strongly attracted to each other, and dated, etc.?"

Then no.

4 weeks +2 optional in case, you need time to understand what he/she likes and dislike, then how much in common you both have (a good 60/65% is good), then try to find a place she/he like, see if you can pay for both, then invite he/she there, but not like "hey, let's get on a date", something more like "listen, I know this place, and I think you like it, so... wanna take something one day ?", then going there, speaking, chatting, paying for both (don't insist too much, if she/he want to pay his/her part, let she/he do it) and it's done, first part of a date done, the rest is for getting in touch, but is better to not rush nor going slow.

Am I the only one that can dispensate good advising on dating and never get a girlfriend thanks to a mixture of panic and cowardliness ?

Nope. I've felt similarly in the past (though with regards to me not getting a boyfriend).

Imagine you had a partner whom you really loved spending time with, but he/she would often neglect you. Not because he/she is actively trying to avoid you, but because he/she is just busy, hanging out with other friends, following other interests, etc. so he/she just doesn't have much time for you. What would you do? That is a lot of "he/she"

My first crush...well, when I was 14, I realized I had a huge crush on Jimmie Johnson. And it just kept going from there.
