The episode was 99% great, Spike got wings, he saved the day, took down a ROC by himself, and it put away fan fears of Twilight or the ponies sending him away when he grows to the size of Torch.

But, the one bad thing is, I have a horrid gut feeling some fanfic writers will make a Cupcakes sequel, with Pinkie trying to bake Spike into a cake.

During his molting he let's off a smell that predators are attracted to(such as ROCs, yes dragons have natural predators it turns out, during a "shouting " contest between him and Smolder, Pinkie barges in and asks if she can join them, she smells Spike's sent(not knowing it's him) and seems to find it very delicious....(Smolder even elbows him about it.)

 

Oh well.
