I'd like to know which songs are your favorite ones for each main character.

Since I'm adding Sunset Shimmer to my list, I'll take Equestria Girls' songs into consideration.

My list:

- Twilight Sparkle: Love is in Bloom.
- Applejack: The Seeds of the Past.
- Rarity: Rules of Rarity.
- Rainbow Dash: Time to be Awesome.
- Fluttershy: So Much More To Me.
- Pinkie Pie: Pinkie's Lament.
- Starlight Glimmer: Say Goodbye to the Holiday.
- Sunset Shimmer: Embrace the Magic.
- Mane 8 (All): Flawless.
- Mane 8 (Duet): Monday Blues (Sunset and Twilight).
- Spike: A Changeling Can Change* I believe this is his only song...
- CMC: Light of your Cutie Mark.
- Other Character: The Magic Inside (Coloratura).

- Applejack: ??? I can't think of any other than "Seeds Of The Past," but unfortunately I didn't really like that one enough to call it a favorite.
- Rarity: Becoming Popular (The Pony Everypony Should Know)
- Rainbow Dash: I'll Fly
- Fluttershy: So Many Wonders
- Pinkie Pie: The rappin' Hist'ry of the Wonderbolts (Yes, yes, I know...)
- Sunset Shimmer: My Past Is Not Today
- CMC: Hearts As Strong As Horses

- Rarity: Art of the Dress (Hard choice though, she has a ton of great songs)

• Twilight: I've Got to Find a Way. This song is an emotional whiplash for Twilight. The very beginning was any typical Ponyville morning, but realizing she accidentally caused their marks and talents to swap as well as their memories of gaining said talent led to this powerful score and really depressing atmosphere.
   
• Applejack: Applejack's Lullaby. Severely overlooked during one of S5's best episodes. Apple Bloom justifiably frets over what type of mark she'll get, and AJ is right there to console. Short, sweet, and powerful.
   
• Rarity: Life Is a Runway. All three post-RR shorts are golden, but Life is my top choice, and the song has everything to do with it. Quick tempo with excellently inspirational lyrics. In Pedestria, the clothes and style are canvases for self-expression, the runway being the avenue.
   
• Rainbow Dash: Time to Be Awesome. Motivational, exciting, with an excellent tempo of the orchestral instruments.
   
• Fluttershy: So Much More to Me. Listened to this after seeing @DonMaguz and @AlexanderThrond list it above; it's easily her best song of the series. Fluttershy likes to spend her time with her friends and animals, but when it comes to performing, she'd rather do it without any form of pressure as a lead. Music is great, animation is fantastic (especially the lights flashing to the opening beats).
   
• Pinkie Pie: The Smile Song. The epitome of Pinkie. Her altruism is in full effect. She spends so much time making others happy; as long as they're happy, her day's worth it. The animated lead to this song — the camera's closeup to Pinkie's prance — is my top moment of S2.
   
• Starlight Glimmer: Our Town. Best villain song of the entire series.
   
• Spike: A Changeling Can Change. Somber it started, but also determined. It really speaks of Spike's conviction to sacrifice his fame to defend an outcast.
   
• Sunset Shimmer: My Past Is Not Today. Like Life, this short is golden, and how well it tells its story through just one song is why. This song is an autobiography of Sunset's history from bully to trusted friend in CHS. She understands sh still has a ways to go before people and the city as a whole can fully trust her, but she refuses to let her past define her.
   
• Mane 8/HuMane 7 (All): At the Gala. The Best Night Ever is the best finale of the show, and this song is partly why. It cleverly sets up the Mane Six's fantastical outcomes within the Gala through. Its score is very equivalent to an old Broadway musical, and the atmosphere and lyrics feel so important.
   
• Mane 8/HuMane 7 (Duet): What More Is Out There. *sigh* Friendship Games is full of lost potential, and this song exemplifies why. Twilight's wish to explore her world beyond Crystal Prep is balanced by Sunset's uncertainty of where she belongs, both in CHS and her world. A great dynamic that adds dimension to the song, a dimension that was lost in the final cut.
   
• CMCs: Light of Your Cutie Mark. Just like The Smile Song epitomizes Pinkie, this epitomizes the CMCs. They had every right to ignore her or glee for her depression, but took the high road to help her. This song was fast-paced, tense, and demonstrates how great the CMCs are as role models.
   
• Other: You're in My Head Like a Catchy Song. Nuff said.
