Assuming on how legit the reviews look like from the cover art, it barely even overtook Super Mario 64. And from what I read on Wikipedia, Accolade claims that "there was no time to improve upon it", considering as how they rushed the game without the need to improve the badly-made levels made by 5-year olds, especially from the absolutely horrible gameplay, mainly the character's VERY slow movement. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png

There is literally, no fun in this game. You except it to be a game where you run around with a gun and try to kill the dinosaurs... or better yet, BE A DINOSAUR! But NOOO. It's THIS S***!

I remember one of the first Superman games where you couldnt even fly but jump and if you took too much damage you turned into Clark Kent. On top of that you could only use a few powers as soon as you found a power up and even then they only lasted a few seconds. Never played and I never will.

This game is cheesy, in the sense that it's trying to make a statement, but the statement makes absolutely no sense.

 

It's bad. It's just... bad. The concept is dumb, and there's no advancement. So you play for 2 seconds, and you're done. Not to mention the controls suck.

 

Also, have I ever mentioned it's the goriest thing I've ever seen? I mean, I realize that's what they were going for, but why would you make a game that would deter people further from your message? That music, also, haunted me for weeks. Creepy.

I disagree. Pricing is not good indicator of how good a game is. In my experience, I have found absolute gems for $10 and less and seen some pretty bad games being valued at much higher. A good case of this is Psychonauts. It's a marvelous game, and you can pick it up from anywhere for $8.99. This game may be slightly old, but it's an absolute must have.

 

Saying a game is cheesy because it fits in that price range is very sweeping and indicative of having little knowledge of pricing within the industry. Older games and Indie games tend to have lower prices. It doesn't automatically make them cheesy.
