Rank the mane 8 best to worst

So how would you rank the mane 8 from your favorite to least favorite for me it would be this

It is interesting seeing how my rankings have changed over the years. Twily and Spiky have been consistent for a long time, but the rest are in the occasional flux, minus Starlight who is also in a pretty sturdy position.

Silly enough, I think it just added an entry to the list and it didn't change much. I still am not sold on Flutters, Pinkie still annoys me mostly and Spike a shame to fantastic dragons I believe in. Works for me!

Mine changed to it First Started with Twilight and  Fluttershy. Then  in season 5 Starlight  become my favorite and Twilight move down to 3rd. By the end of the season 6 finale  Twilight was down to 6th. And I didn’t  think Starlight  could ever be replaced but in  the start of season 9  Twilight  surprisly manage to moved back up to 1st with Starlight and now there tied. But at the end of the first half of season 9  the impossible happen Rainbow Dash manage to take the top spot away from Twilight and Starlight.   I use to hate Rainbow Dash so much It wasent till Season 5 when I started to like her a bit. Then  as time went on I begin to like her even more however in season 6 and season 7 she took a major hit going from 5th all the way down to 8th in season 6. Then in season 8 was when she finally became one of my favorite characters with episodes like the wash outs and Grannies Gone wild. When Common Ground came out I loved her  she was so closed to dethroning Twilight and Starlight then when the last crusade came she’s officially took the top spot and now I love her and she’s my favorite character of the whole series. Just goes to show how much people’s list can change overtime.   

I also didn’t start liking spike till about season 6 I thought he was just a useless and a punch bag character. But when Matter of principles came I started to love him. 

Also pinkie pie is probably the one who suffered the most I use to love pinkie pie so much  she went from being either number 2 or 3 and  once 4 in the first 5 seasons to now being last in the past 3 seasons. She just isn’t a fun character anymore. It’s really sad actually. 

Twilight took a pretty big hit in season 6 going from my first favorite the first 4 season down to 3rd in season 5 and then all the way down to 6th in season 6. However season 7 manage to make Twilight a loveable character and she went right back up to 3rd.  Then by the end of season 8 she moved up to 2nd place then right after the premiere of Season 9 she officially took back the spot  tied with first with Starlight.

Ive always love Fluttershy she so cute and adorable and she and Starlight are the only ponies  to never go down any lower than 4th. I wish Fluttershy had more than 1 or 2 lines thou in episodes where she’s with the mane 6 together. 

 

Rarity and Applejack switched places a lot.

Spike is the mane 8th member thou while Starlight is the 7th mane number the show themselves confirm this.

It's really hard to rank them for me, but as it stands right now:

I must say I like all of them, and of course the ranking might change as it did before, for example at some point AJ was number 2 and Pinkie was last.

My ranking for them has changed a bit over time, but here's what it is at the moment:

1. Fluttershy (She's always been my favorite of the main cast)
2. Starlight Glimmer (I've grown to love her over time)
3. Twilight Sparkle (I've always really liked her, she's always been high on my list)
4. Pinkie Pie (Loved her, then hated her, now I like her again)
5. Rarity (Didn't like her for a long time, but she's grown on me quite a bit)
6. Spike (Overall he's a good dude, never thought of him as useless)
7. Rainbow Dash (I like her a lot more than I used to)
8. Applejack (Used to like her more, but now I find her kind of boring when compared to the others)

I refuse to rank them, they're all awesome in their own way. Just a tiny spoiler alert though, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie would be the best if you forced me to rank them and Starlight and Spike wouldn't be the worst.
