The last big vacation I had was a cruise wayyy back in August of 2019.

I miss cruising.

Won't be back on one until July of next year.

February of 2019 I went to Walt Disney World. I posted about it here at the time, and I can’t believe that all this time later I still haven’t managed another vacation (I live for little else). I’ve had to cancel two so far and I still don’t know when I’ll get a chance.

Just a local small resort city around the salt lake. I didn't even leave my region (but we still had to drive for 5 hours to get there)

Depends on what you consider a vacation.

In the early Spring when my parents came up to see me, we went to the neighboring state Rhode Island - a bit further than I've been into the state. We went to the Newport area, but didn't really get to look at Newport itself much, we mostly hung out at the nearby beaches, but you can see some houses if you zoom in to the first photo. Newport has such cute houses!

We had lots of fun at the beaches! Found lots of shells! 

Last autumn, my dad and I went up to northern New England, mainly New Hampshire and Maine. It felt more vacationy because it was a little further away, and we stayed a couple of nights.

Of course, that trip was amazing. Since a young age I've always wanted to live in Maine! While I ended up moving to a more southern New England state, Maine will always have a piece of my heart!

My vacation to Florida in May of this year. I went to Disney World and Universal Studios.

I visited Paris last November. It was the best time to visit. Almost no tourists at all and the restaurants had space. I loved the city and will visit there again in the future. I spent there only two days and it wasn't enough at all. The negative rumors are all lies. People over there are very nice and welcoming. No scammers or overcharging taxis. Felt totally safe all the time and the overall feeling somewhat felt very familiar, clear and working to me.

Last vacation I was on was over in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia. Three years ago.

It was great right up until I caught COVID-19 over there, a complete epic fail to the trip.

California for MGSCON last week

My last short trip was to a german vulcanic mountain region called Eifel in january this year (which is not far away from where I live). It was only 3 days long, but still a vacation. And I had a lot of snow (which is not that often in western germany). 

My last bigger vacation (a whole week) was 2023 in march to the bavarian forest in eastern bavaria (where I had both, snowy days at the beginning and sunny warm days at the end). 

Both were really nice vacations.
