general How Was Everyone's Christmas/Hearth's Warming/Holiday?

Another Christmas has come and gone, so how was everyone's day? Did you have a good time? Do tell!

My day started by having a strobe light shined in my face to wake me up at 7AM, before me and my family exchanged and opened gifts (there was lot of chocolate this year. Like, no one went away without a couple bars of chocolate!) and then did it again once my relatives arrived. All and all, it was a pretty good holiday.

Mine was pretty good!! I’m currently at my ‘second’ Christmas. I got a lot of Amazon gift cards so I’m planning on buying a lot of stuff for myself.

My Christmas was really good. I got some cool gifts and I'm getting another gift in the mail. I'm hoping it'll show up this week, or by New Years. I was up at around four in the morning and was waiting for everyone else to show up. I had a lot of cookies and played some Pokemon Shield. I managed to win a wifi battle and I think I made someone rage quit.

Overall, I think today was pretty awesome!

My Christmas was fairly uneventful. I got some neat gifts, though I spent most of the day trying to fix some unexpected issues on my PC. I did end up having dinner at my uncle's house, which was enjoyable.

Was pretty low key this time round. It was nice catching up with my brother, at the very least, and I am happy withmy presents.

Mine was pretty good, my main gift was a new iPad since my old one has pretty much bit the dust.

It was pretty much another day for me since I didn't really have anywhere to go.  Did my laundry and did some cooking.  It was kinda boring today tbh.

Mine was just spent with relatives like it is every year, and it's always great to catch up with them because I don't see them too often outside of Christmas and Thanksgiving. I spent part of the day helping out with cooking and part of it just chatting with the relatives. I got a new laptop to replace my old one, as well as a new flannel shirt and sweatshirt and some gift cards. So I'd say today was a great day.

I woke up at 4:30 am this morning literally. I was too exited.  But shortly after that the rest of my family woke up. And, as every year goes, we waited to open presents until about 8:30 (cause my grandparents wake up a bit later) so in the meantime we drank hot cocoa and watched my favorite Christmas movie ever “A Christmas Story” 

But after we opened presents I had to go out and get my truck working again and then we had to eat Christmas dinner early because I had work. Literally just got home. Yeah unfortunately wasn’t able to spend much time with my family at all this Christmas but life happens.

My Christmas was disappointingly unceremonious. Like I hardly realized it wasn't just another day, and one where my boyfriend seems more depressed than usual... And I don't feel like my attempts to help with that are actually helping... That plus it hasn't been a good day for me in general. Still better than last year, at least my life isn't looking like a waste of time now. Still seems pretty depressing though.

 

Honestly the only good thing that happened to me today was watching "Holidaze" and that was really it.

Mine was great! I went over to my grandma's house on Christmas Eve to celebrate with my family and relatives, and I had a fun time opening presents with my family on Christmas day!

Christmas day was lovely, but to me the real fun of Christmas is the season leading up to it, especially as the big day looms closer. I always spend it at my parents' house with family and I don’t sleep at all between December 24^th and Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is for church, playing games around the tree and preparing for Early Yule. Early Yule starts around 10 o’clock on Christmas Eve when everyone else goes to bed. I spend it with special Christmas TV viewings, reading Christmas stories and listening to music while I stuff my face with chocolate chip cookies. Later (around 3:30 am I join up with my brother and we exchange some unique gifts and play Crazy 8s until dawn, when we sneak out to the living room to scope out the presents until the rest of the family wakes up and we can start ripping open the packages (which we call the Carnival Yule). Then it’s turkey dinner in the afternoon and total exhaustion by 5 o’clock when we wrap up the festivities. Then it’s coma nap time until midnight when I like to turn on the TV and see out the day with a few remaining Christmas shows and specials with some cold turkey and stuffing wrapped in a tortilla. That’s the usual run-down and hasn’t changed much since I was little.
