"Well, yes, I actually..." Trilby was going to agree with Tree Song, until Shadow said they don't mid. "Oh, but, I, well, that is-- Sure, I guess?" Trilby says, clutching his shirt collar and tugging on it to give himself some air. Trilby is visibly nervous. "Oh Celestia... This is going to be so humiliating... It could even ruin the surprise I had in mind! But if Shadow wants Sundae to join, how can I say no?" Trilby thinks to himself.

“A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Monsieur Couleur!” she greeted upon hearing the stallion’s name. She held a hoof out for him to shake. She might have done that before already, but she couldn’t remember.

Atout Couleur offered to bring more of his work and to spread the word about the museum’s exhibits. Pencil was thrilled that this stallion was willing to do that for her. Beaming, she exclaimed,

“Merci, monsieur! You can definitely bring more artworks and you can most definitely bring more ponies! Feel free to stop by again whenever it’s convenient,”

Before the stallion left, she took a quick glance at the signup sheet to see which time he had chosen. Thankfully, he had chosen a time that wasn’t too soon from the current time. In spite of that, however, it was still best to give a small reminder.

“Oh, yeah, don’t forget to come for your exhibit on the time you signed up for!” she exclaimed Atout before he could leave, pointing at the list as she held it up with her magic.

"L-L-Love?" Dynamo responded as he managed to stutter out the word in a hushed whisper. It had been a while since had come across that particular word and feeling. Was what he was feeling and the way Bluebell was acting was love? At the moment, he wasn't truly sure. What he did know was that he was happy to be with the bespectacled mare. Just being near her had caused a warmth in his heart. He wasn't sure if it was love or not, but he didn't want to go against that feeling. He was brought out of his thoughts as Thundy had mentioned about the flaming heart. "There is? I hope it's not a bad question, but how so?" He asks, tilting his head in confusion. Hearing the mention of having to decide what to do with it, he turned his attention back towards the blue unicorn mare. "What do you think, Bluebell? Is there anything you'd like to do with the heart?" While he wasn't sure what Thundy had meant, he still wanted to take Bluebell's thoughts and feelings into account.

"I-I-I think-think I have an-an-an idea," Bluebell said.  She leaned over and briefly whispered in Dynamo's ear, and then stood in front of him, smiling, her horn softly glowing and motioning for him to touch his  horn to hers.

As he was about to ask the two griffons if they had any suggestions for the heart, Dynamo turned towards Bluebell. "What did you have in mind, Bluebell?" Upon hearing that she had an idea, Dynamo leaned towards her as she leaned in an whispered. His ear perked as the idea was given to him, before smiling. "Oh, I like that idea. Let's do it!" He grinned, before the grin slowly faded as he stood directly in front of her. Being motioned on what to do, the gaming unicorn nodded as he touched his horn to hers once again. Taking a deep breath as his horn began to glow with magic.

Sundae gave her a pleased smile, before going over to Shadow like a foal, she looked back to Tree and said “I'm truly going to have fun” she told her, managing to stop the urge to laught at her.

When the two horns touched, the flaming heart began to change into something. It seemed as if it split into two flaming hearts. One hovered towards Dynamo and the other towards Bluebelle. The two hearts morphed into what seemed to be...pedants of some sort. They appeared to be diamond hearts, the same color as the two ponies' respective magic auras. "Whoa, check that out." Thundy stated. "I've actually witnessed something similar to this before. I think it was called a connective spell, that happens when two ponies have a deep connection to each other." Chelsea stated. The pendants hovered in front of the respective ponies.

As the spell began to work, the effects of said spell began to take effect. The flaming heart had begun to change and take shape as it grew smaller. The heart began to split in the middle, before morphing into two pendants. The form stayed the same as they were turned into diamond hearts. The thing that stood out between both hearts was that they took on the form of the duo unicorn's magic auras. Dynamo's being a orange/amber color and Bluebells, who seemed to have a blue colored aura. Dynamo had heard Thundy's and Chelsea's respective remarks, while the gaming ucicorn stared in aw at their results of the spell. "It worked. It really worked." He would say as he smiled softly. He didn't have any sort of doubt as it seemed that he and Bluebell were a great team in regards to magic. It also proved to be true based on the name of the spell. "A connective spell, huh? It's the first time I've heard about it, but it sounds pretty interesting. I guess it shows that Bluebell and I have a special connection of sorts." He would say to the Thundy and Chelsea, before the pendants hovered to their respective users.

Dynamo had grabbed his pendant in a levitation spell, before looking at the accessory. He couldn't explain it, but he could feel his magic was within the pendant. Almost as if he was thinking deeply about something, before turning his attention to Bluebell. Nodding, he took a step forward as he held his pendant out towards the bespectacled mare. "I want you to have my pendant. If that's okay, that is. I know it might sound strange, but I can feel my magic is within the pendant, itself. I guess it's why the pendant had taken on the color of my magic aura." He explained, before continuing. "After everything we've gone through today, I want you to have my pendant, Bluebell. There might be times we could be busy and might be away from each other. However, if you have my pendant, then it'll be like a part of me will always be with you." He says, smiling softly as he hoped that she would accept the gift.

Trilby looks back and fourth between Shadow, Sundae, and Tree Song. Although, there is a look of desperation in his eyes. When he looks back at Sundae, he's practically begging her to not go or to do something about this. "...Sure. Absolutely." As Trilby uneasily begins to walk off with the the two mares, it causes the dragon's curse to swirl around him. Invisible to others, unless one is very magically perceptive.

Atout manages to shake her hoof and give it a fancy kiss before leaving. He is prench after all. "Oui, oui! Au revoir!"

Pencil fought the urge to blush as Atout politely kissed her hoof. As he said his goodbyes, Pencil waved to him then shut the door with her magic. Once his hoof steps were out of hearing range, she took his painting and held it up proudly.

“This really does look great, doesn’t it?” she beamed to water Pencil. “It should probably be hung up sooner rather than later. Come on!” She motioned for water Pencil to follow as she exited the office.

She wandered around the empty halls, mystified by how loud her hooves sounded against the tile. When she was familiarized with the sound, her mind centered her focus towards the empty rectangular spaces on the walls. There were plenty of spaces to choose from and many that fit the exact height and width of Atout’s canvas. All she needed to figure out was which spot would be the best.

“This painting is definitely something that should be in the visitors’ main view, but not towards the front so it can be a bit of a surprise. Hmm, I have an inkling about where it should go, but I’m not certain about the exact location just yet. Do you have any suggestions, water Pencil?” she asked her liquidy companion, allowing her to help with the decision if she wanted to.

After they leave the restaurant, I meet my apprentice again.

"Get the real Sundae. Tell her to go to the jazz club." I say to Tree Song, and she runs towards Sundae's house.

I don't know if two versions of Sundae Delight can exist at the same time, but if it's true, then a confrontation can lead to revealing a part of the mystery. Also I need to investigate this. Spying on ponies on their date is wrong, but technically I'm spying on the impostor, and these two can be in real danger, so I have to be there. I need to use all my magical and non-magical concealment skills to make sure I remain unseen.

After catching up with the three ponies, I can sense that there is something wrong about them. All three have some anomalous magic in them, although it's a different thing for each one. In case of the impostor it's obvious, but for the other two I can't figure out what it is. Anyway, I need to warn them. I'll send them a mental message. I'm not very good at this kind of magic, but I have to try.

"NOT... REAL... SUNDAE...." This is all I manage to put in Shadow and Trilby's minds. I hope they will understand what's going on...

Sundae smiled, showing him how pleased she was to join them to the jazz club. She walked beside Shadow, who was very curious of her.

“Sundae, why did you decide to join us to the jazz club? What persuaded you to go?" She asked.

“I-I just decided to go because of the music. I haven't heard jazz from before” Sundae almost halted completely, glancing behind her, her horn glowing. It is unknown what kind of spell she casted. Oblivious to Trilby and Shadow, it was some kind of spell to block out magical messages from reaching them. She turned to Trilby. Whoever has put the stallion under curse, they were not the one behind the thempted communication. It could be one of those who tried to get her back in Mcdoffil's.

“Sundae, is something wrong? You look a little tense”

She turned to Shadow and Trilby, and smiled “Nothing. I was just thinking about Tree”

“What about Tree?" Shadow asked, puzzled.

“Well, I was thinking why she's alone. Isn't that a bit odd to walk in town without her teacher's guidance?"

...

However, Sundae was not at her house yet. Instead, she was still talking to one of her ice cream parlor employees, who was suggestion a new idea for an ice cream.

“Banana split with avocado, mango, cherry, and strawberry ice cream? You have some creativity in you, Mrs.Craft”

The dragon's curse was swirling in Trilby's head. For a moment, the shadows cover his eyes, leaving only his muzzle visible. Sundae, or at least this Sundae, did her best to block out magical messages. What she doesn't know is that messages are not what she needs to worry about.

"Sundae, do you really think you can lie to me?"

As Trilby turns to Sundae, there is a certain sinister look in his eyes behind his sudden smirk. If anything, they don't even look like his eyes anymore. "Maybe instead of trying to be part of our fun, you should just live for yourself, do all the things that will only make you happy. You do want to be happy, don't you?" Trilby reaches out to her. This could be Sundae's biggest mistake. If she isn't strong in the ways of magic, the dragon's curse will spread, and she'll be cursed too.
...Unless of course, Shadow intervenes. A simple word or even a gentle hoof would be enough to make him lose focus...

Sundae stumbled back, completely caught off guard by the sudden turn events. She was able to keep her facade, however couldn't help but grit her teeth and narrow her eyes. He was approaching her, reaching out a hoof at her like a pervert. But she knew he was no pervert and the intent was controlled by the curse put in him.

Shadow was also taken out with surprise to Trilby's sudden change of attitude. Concerned, she asked him “Trilby, are you okay?” she said. A part of her begged for her to flee, but she ignored that instinct and decided to confront her coltfriend.

Bluebell smiled back,  She gently took the amber pendant with her hoof, and held it against her chest. The chain magically rose and clasped itself around her neck.  She felt the warmth of his magic surround her, and her coat briefly took on an orange glow. She could feel his affection.  She then took her blue  pendant with her hoof and slipped it over Dynamo's head and watched as a blue aura enveloped him.   With that, she gave him a gentle hug.

Dynamo smiled as Bluebell had accepted the pendant without hesitation. As she placed the pendant on, it looked as if the chain had magically clasped around her neck. Whether it was due to her magic or the power of the pendant, he truly wasn't sure. However, he was in awe as the aura of his magic had enveloped her. He was about to ask if she was okay, before stopping as she slipped the pendant over his head. He was even caught off guard as she had given him a gentle hug. Nothing had been said in their pendant exchange, but it seemed that words weren't necessary. To him, the pendants they received seemed to have their thoughts and feelings were written upon the accessory. The gaming unicorn had closed his eyes as he felt both the warmth of Bluebell's hug, as well as the warmth of her magic. He could feel all the affection and feelings that were held with her magic and heart. A blue glow had surrounded the both of them, but took over Dynamo. To him, he felt himself feeling overwhelmed from the warmth of Bluebell and her magic, but he felt it was a good thing. To him, it was a feeling that seemed familiar, but something new, altogether. Smiling softly and feeling a few tears welling up in his eyes, he slowly returned the gentle hug and held her close. "T-Thank you so much, Bluebell. I promise to take good care of your pendant. No matter where I go, it'll feel like a part of you will always be with me." He knew he didn't have to say anything as their silence and looking into their eyes said what needed to be said. However, he still wanted to tell her of his thoughts and feelings.

"Wow...well, I guess it's our turn to show you guys what we can do together." Chelsea said looking at Thundy. Thundy nodded yes and got out his Yu Gi Oh card binder again. "Ooh! This is gonna be so much fun!" Chelsea squeaked bouncing up and down. Thundy got out 3 cards from his binder: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician Girl and Polymerization.

Trilby blinks, his eyes back to normal. "Shadow?"

Trilby withdraws his hoof. In fact, he takes a few steps away from both mares and kneels over, rubbing his head. The dragon's curse is quelling, for now. And it's giving Trilby a bit of a headache too. You can hear him growing a little. "I-- I'm sorry. I'm not sure what's come over me, but I don't feel so good."

As his ears perked at Chelsea's voice calling out to them. Dynamo pulled back from the hug to look towards the two griffons. All the while, tilting his head in slight confusion, yet wonder. "What you both can do together? Is this something like that performance in the arcade with the whole dance?" He asks, wondering what the duo had in mind. He took notice of Thundy getting out the same binder that had his trading cards. As he heard Chelsea's remark and hopping up and down, Dynamo saw that Thundy had taken three different cards. "Uh...Thundy? Chelsea? Is it recommended that Bluebell and I should take a few steps back? We wouldn't want to get caught in the crossfire like last time. Also, is this going to be a hologram, or something else that you're planning" He would ask, reminding the griffons of their fusion shaking the terrain around them.

”This is way more than a hologram, so you may want to take a few steps back.” Thundy warned. Chelsea had the dark magician girl card in her talon and Thundy was holding the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card. Thundy gathered some electricity and Chelsea gathered some water energy. The two cards began to glow and the two griffons were sucked into their respective cards. Thundy emerged out as the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, letting out a mighty roar. Chelsea emerged out as the Dark Magician Girl, letting out a cute giggle. She still looked like herself but with the Dark Magician girl attire and staff. Thundy fired a white lightning strike at the polymerization card and a vortex appeared from the polymerization card. Thundy flew into the vortex and Chelsea leaped into the vortex with a “Wheee!” followed by a giggle. The vortex disappeared. Everything was still for a moment but suddenly, the polymerization card glowed brightly...and out came Chelsea mounted on Thundy sporting a silver knight armor with streaks of blue still as the dark magician girl. Thundy was still Blue-eyes White Dragon. Thundy flew around with Chelsea on his back.

Hearing that they would indeed need to step back, Dynamo nodded without hesitation. "Like I said before that you don't need to tell me twice." He says, looking back to Bluebell, before taking her front right hoof into his front left. "We should take their advice, Bluebell. We wouldn't want to get caught up in whatever Thundy and Chelsea have in store for us." He says, walking with her until they were a few feet away from the griffons. Waving to the two, he made sure to give them a signal to begin whatever they had in mind. As he watched, it looked like Thundy was trying to power bind with another card like before. Only this time, it seemed that Chelsea was able to perform the power bind, as well. Once the process was complete, the two had emerged from the selected cards that they chose. Dynamo's jaw dropped in awe as Thundy appeared as the Blue Eyes White Dragon, while Chelsea had appeared as the Dark Magician Girl. He felt nostalgic as he saw the old cards being used once more. He glanced to the side to see Bluebell. All the while wondering what she would look like dressed up as the Dark Magician Girl. He suddenly blushed and shook his head as he tried to not think like that. He did, however, had to admit that she would look really cute like that. He wasn't sure if it was due to the pendant or by his thoughts, but he still didn't think it was anything bad.

He was pulled from his thoughts as Thundy had let out a mighty roar as the Blue Eyes White Dragon. His ears fell as the roar was loud, as well as powerful like the original card. Upon blasting the polymerization card, he raised an eyebrow in confusion as to why. He was soon given his answer as a giant vortex had appeared above the transformed duo. As they flew into the vortex, Dynamo wondered if this was how it was like when fusing to make Chimera. Once the vortex disappeared, everything had felt still and quiet. The silence was interrupted as card glowed brightly, before Chelsea and Thundy appeared out of the card itself. Chelsea had looked the same, but had taken on a silver knight style of armor. The gaming stallion wondered why they had needed a polymerization card, before realizing what had happened. "Wait a minute. That's not the Eye of Timaeus, but I remember that fusion. Those two combined together to create Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight." He explained, watching as it looked like the duo were having fun flying around.

Thundy landed in front of Dynamo. He tried to talk but they came out as roars. He eventually was able to gain his normal voice through Blue-Eyes and cleared his throat. "Technically, Eye of Timaeus is a special solo fusion card. We'd have to do it the old fashioned way using polymerization." Thundy stated. "Which gives Thundy quite the choices when deciding what dragon he wants to be when we want to fuse to become the Dark Magician Girl Dragon Knight." Chelsea stated.

The changeling walked at a brisk pace through the woods, head lightly (or heavily) banging at the EDM, Techno, and Dubstep playlist blasting in his headphones, sharping his sword all the while.

Making a sudden stop, he began to dance, swirling his sword and wings in sync with the music.

Unbeknownst to him, he was being watched.

Dynamo lost his footing in bracing for Thudny, who had landed in front of him. His ears fell from the constant roars, while tilting his head as to what Thundy was trying to say. He was able to eventually understand Thundy, who had gained his normal voice through Blue-Eyes. Upon hearing their explanation, Dynamo nodded in understanding. "Oh, I see. I guess it makes sense when you put it that way. I always thought it was needed to be Dark Magician Girl and Timaeus. I guess I was thinking of it as an anime only thing. I know of the card, but I didn't realize you could use any other kind of dragon card. Although, I suppose it's why Thundy wanted more options to be as the dragon. The Eye of Timaeus is cool and all, but it's better to have options to choose from." He explained, while a thought had crossed his mind. "How did you know what I was saying? You're practically up in the sky and I was explaining to Bluebell of the fusion you made, while speaking my thoughts out loud."
