Often people back then or maybe now didnt like that scene in English

Also a reviewer i like alot, who thought it would have been better if Darth Vader showed sadness and anger in that scene.

So i have a question.. Would you say this is better than the english one in this context? Or do you prefer the original one?

It has become one of the greatest meme. I mean moments.

I’ve always loved that scene and I think it captures exactly what Vader is feeling at that point. He’s frustrated, angry and hurt, seeing the futility of his actions and the resulting death of Padme. Now hatred has taken over his thinking in place of logic and reason so now it’s a whole lot of emotion coming out in one big, “NOOOOOO!” just as it should be. A very well-done scene.

Scenes like this are honestly why I think most reviewers are quite wrong to lump this movie in with the other two prequels, because what the reviewer you quote is saying is quite obviously not paying attention. Anger and sadness are both there, and quite obviously there... It also is the only movie in the entire series to not just say the Sith are bad and the Jedi are good instead of showing, to some degree, which is a huge plus for me because I found the rest of the films to be lacking an enormous amount of depth for such a long-running, successful, movie franchise. But yet again high concept films that work at the box office must always be great movies right?

As for the reviewer, it seems convenient to just bash the third movie even when it did things right just because the other two films in the prequel trilogy were mediocre at best.

I actually feel bad for Anakin Skywalker. He felt like everything he's done was for nothing.

Although... Episode IX Spoilers

Spoiler

His grandson, Ben Solo AKA, Kylo Ren did succeed in saving someone he cared about from death at the cost of his life. That makes him a hero in the end in my book

I'm fine with the original scene. If you want to call it exaggerated, go ahead, but keep in mind that Anakin/Vader had believed that he just lost everything. His wife, his child and his best friend. He was burnt alive and now he can't live without a suit which is essentially a life support system. I think the way he reacted was more than appropriate.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Just now I saw that scene on Disney plus. now that I have seen most of the Clone Wars series up to the end of season 6, it makes a lot more sense
