What annoys you about your own home?

Our refrigerator always has too much food in it, and it's always frustrating getting what you need because you have to move other food just to get to what you need.

You have full fridge syndrome. We have that. Full fridge but nothing to eat.

This is my new signature.

My parents argument it's upsetting. Do hear my mum ague sometimes cos she had to look after dad cos he had dementia. And my dad do things like he want to get out and it's midnight or end up in my bed in my room. His dementia can get worse. Not sure that what you called annoying guess it is to me and also it's more than just annoying. Also my mum also annoyed me like things I bought and she does moan to me on things like what to these things when she gone or leave home.

Love my cats, and ones I get along the most but one of them keep bother me when I'm eating and when he went into my room his tail keep knocking things on my bed table.

My brother sometimes me, when talk about things like politics it goes crazy and he made me angry and go over the top, and also annoyed me like I be doing shopping, shopping list and cooking. I can shop but not sure what to buy for famliy. I lost my job things will be more diffcult.

I can’t complain because at least I have a place to stay but....

We moved here a few years ago and Ive got the neglected upstairs from the previous. My concerns/issues are pretty much ignored when brought up. I have a carpet beetle issue. I think I’ve done a pretty good job fighting that since I don’t hardly find them or the larvae like I used to.

Theres also the yearly wasp nest that happens in the small attic space right above my room. They get in through the outside vent.
I can hear them up there destroying stuff. Apparently no one other than me is concerned.

Bugs and spiders in general are a huge issue here.

The shower was also pretty gross upstairs when we first moved in. It had a black mold issue that I had to clean up.

The old owner also messed up a lot of plumbing and stuff he did in his own.

I have couple small issues with my current flat but no any dealbreakers which would make me want to move. Guess layout could be bit more functional so that there would be more room. And the windows, those ancient inconveniences should be repaired and fixed. Other than that, can't really complain

My apartment is very small but costs the same as a well-equipped mansion with staff. And I have noisy neighbors who seem to take particular joy in bouncing against my bedroom’s shared wall for hours on end (only when I’m trying to sleep of course, otherwise it’s silent as a tomb).

I <3 my home

Only thing that annoys me is that it is surrounded by other homes and between them and the fact I need to grow things to screen them I can't get enough sky into my house. Love the sky :)

the dog hair and how sad it looks and it gets cold in my house pretty fast even when the heater was just on. I feel poor but we're actually not not poor but yeah. I do wish we can get rid of our second dog because it will be less hairy.

My 'dysfunctional' family. But family will be family, can't do much about it.

The fact that most of the stuff in it isn't even mine, and I have to find a way to dispose of it all.  That, and the usual annoyances of apartment living.

Not much really. The occasional pests but that's about it.

With my current apartment: No dishwasher, no central air conditioning. In addition I have a downstairs neighbor that blasts music really loudly all day and night on weekends. It vibrates my floor and makes me feel physically unwell. Also, another neighbor smokes one of those nasty smelling drugs and stinks up the whole lobby. Last complaint would be an older male neighbor that has been a bit too friendly to me.

But... Thank god I'm in New England now. All of these complaints pale in comparison to living in the crappy state I came from.

Mostly the fact that I live on a main road. Traffic build up means that it can be a royal pain to get into the carpark or to get out, depending on the time of day.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

My floors are quite creaky. At this time of year you literally can’t take a step in any part of the apartment without notifying everyone within a hundred meter radius. Annoying when I want to raid the fridge in the wee hours of the a.m.
