Would you want a G5 Equestria Girls?

Not do you think it will be one, would you want one? I am not sure. How much time has passed in the EQG world? Maybe the children of the human 7 is the new ones, and they are somehow the human mane 5.

But as I said, I just don't think it would be a good idea. What do you think?

If it existed, then....

Human Sunny would look up to Sunset Shimmer, not Twilight Sparkle. Sunset was the hero in the human world, not Twi.

All three races would probably be in different schools.

Canterlot High would become history. The teachings of the Rainbooms would be forgotten.

However the parallels would get messy fast because three different high schools becoming one because of a bunch of students is 200% unlikely.

Honestly, I'm not really clamoring for one. As much as I enjoyed EqG after Rainbow Rocks I never really held the same amount of enthusiasm for it.

I'd be down for it.  As much as I enjoyed G4 Equestria Girls, with how often it changed formats, it felt like it never reached its full potential.  With this in mind I feel that a new take on the franchise could be a good thing as it could take the elements that worked in the previous incarnation and toss away what didn't, and create a more fully realized take than we previously got out of it.

Yes. I liked Equestria Girls better than Friendship is Magic.

 

But what I really want is one last Equestria Girls movie to wrap up Sunset Shimmer's story. Sadly instead Hasbro give us Pony Life.

I'd watch it just to see how it would pan out. Seems like people are concerned about the schools being separated and that makes sense, but what I'm wondering is how the humans would be separated. Magic differences are what kept the ponies apart so what would give the humans a reason to separate?

That would be hard to tell who had which thoughts since some people would keep them hidden. Then again, maybe it's not so easy to hide that sort of thing. I was also thinking that the school would be like Harry Potter and be divided up into houses but it wouldn't be as large scale as separating pony races. It's the best idea I've got so far, though.

Have it be like the first Equestria Girls and separate them according to their interests. Recycling plots is common in entertainment nowadays.

I was never all that invested in it. But I might enjoy it if they make certain changes to that world. Given how much the G5 world has changed, and how much time has passed, the Equestria Girls world wouldn't feel so different unless there has also been a significant time skip there. Maybe there's a weird futuristic version of the society on the other side of the mirror.

I'd want a proper conclusion for FiM's universe first and id like to see g5 DESIGNS, not neccesarily them in the human world because time has passed where the pony world is very similar to the human world with history bigotry and celebrities. so  I don't think it'll be that interesting.  My other question is how would they do the time peiriod? Distant future makes it less marketable which is why hasbro wanted to do eqg in the first place so i think they would just ignore it as ages and time between the two worlds are already weird in g4. I also hope they do it in the eqg 2d style cause that has alot of charm and eqg in other styles doesnt look great like the toy packaging and i cant imagine itll look well in 3d. Maybe they do it in the minis style? I did like those

Absolutely not. Got immensely sick of the "perfect Barbie doll" garbage of the original series. I doubt it would be any better now. Last thing I want anymore in MLP is the real world being a setting in any capacity. The real world has become very tiring and depressing.

Not really. Besides, how will they call it now that there is a stallion or two in the group? But I think it comes down to whether G5 gets a decent enough viewership to guarantee making yet another production will be profitable. And that is something I am not entirely sure about, considering there will be a secondary series running along the main show. Which, at least to my understanding, shows little confidence on their part. But who knows?

Also, don't you ever get that feeling you really want something to crash and burn down? No? Alright. I guess we can keep pretending for a little longer. But just a little, okay?

My head canon is that time passes slower in the human world. This way you can keep the technology levels the same with Gen 5 since Gen 5's pony world seems like it's on the same tech level as Gen 4's human world.

I have a lot of doubts about the idea of a G% Equestrian girls, much are which are similar to the doubts I have for MLP G5 A New Generation, but I do find the idea of futuristic Equestrian quite interesting.

The advanced technology could bring a lot of possibilities, such as alternate dimensions, time travel with/out dimensional travel. etc.

I honestly wish for a character who is a clone of an OC character from MLP G4, who struggles to call the first and only world she ever had, home.

The character would be a stand-in for the fans who are stuck lamenting over G4, and struggling to embrace what is here and what is coming.

I don't think I'd mind the idea of having a G5 version of Equestria Girls, especially since I'm a bit interested to see how Pesdestria has changed over the years

I wouldn't mind it. Wanting it on the other hand, eh. The quality of the franchise as a whole was decent to me, but it was never something that particularly excited me. Rather than making a G5-ified Equestria Girls, I would prefer for them to bring back G4 Equestria Girls and give that series a proper conclusion. Of course, the improper conclusion the FiM comics got has cemented my doubts of that ever happening.
