Honestly, it's going to be Twitter. like no joke the minute you post an opinion someone doesn't like, you get blatantly called a "fascist".

Facebook. They are so messed up and stupid. I used to have an account there and cancelled it after a few years. But when I tried to sign back up they kicked me out, over and over and over again, citing ‘violation of Facebook guidelines’. They had me out of there so quickly I didn’t even have time to violate any of their ambiguous guidelines. If I loaded a picture, it was removed as indecent or something like that (even though its kinda hard to be indecent from the chin, up). If I appeal, their automated bot arbitrarily overrules me, allows no dialog or rebuttal, and blocks any attempt to appeal further. It’s like they’re trying to block members from signing up, at all costs, and getting rid of existing ones. Most media sites (Twitter/X, Tiktok, Instagram) are merely confusing and impossible to understand, but Facebook is simply f**ked.

My guess about Tumblr is that it's mellowed out a bit over the years. I'm not as active there anymore as I was a while back (still after the explicit content ban), and most fandoms have chilled out a ton, it's a lot of people who are just nostalgic for the website and old fandom days. There's still some discourse and the website is practically bleeding money, but it's still easy to find similar interests and art you like. Mainly the issues are the site doing weird or inconvenient stuff to the platform or occasional fighting in fandoms, but typically people will just stick with what they want to see and block tags they don't want to see. Also a lot of people like how you have a bit more say about your page's appearance, even if you have to pay for some formats.

I feel like a lot of the issues and fighting on Twitter or more reminiscent of Tumblr at it's most toxic

Facebook and TikTok,

Facebook, had many  bad memories with it. Still use it not as much as before like in 2007 and 2008, wanted to use as escapism, and be friends with people I don't met/know, now looking back I see it not good but friends with them cos of same football (soccer) team we support and same interests, I know people use Facebook being contact with famliy, friends and people they know. 

TikTok, some okay. Some are Toxic. 

Would say Twitter but I use it alot, and it do have problem and trolls like FB and TikTok.

Honestly, all of them.

I hate the concept of social media in general. I’ve never downloaded instagram, twitter/x, facebook, tiktok, etc., and I don’t plan on downloading them. I tasted short form video content by watching a few YouTube shorts, and they all sucked. These days, all of my online entertainment consists of a few games, talking with others online, approximately 45 minutes of regular YouTube each day, and an MLP episode if I have extra time

Facebook. I'm still on it cause it's the only way my volunteer group and I can chat together so far, but with the fact checkers being fired, it's gotten worse since.

I'm disliking X more and more, not because of the app itself but because of all the hate you can see in there, especially lately. Don't want to get political here, but lately every single time I go in it I'm like "what's up with all this hate towards minorities???" It's okay that people express themselves freely, I am against censorship. In fact, it's way better for people to just vent like that than to recur to actual physical violence so maybe it's a good thing, but I personally really dislike all the hate you can find there. Maybe it's been like this all of this time and I'm just finding out. I found it really fun in the past though, especially when I was a PR Staff and helped manage the Poniverse official Twitter accounts!!

Also dislike TikTok because out of all social media, it's the one that really, really feels like a digital drug (though you could really argue all of them are). Everytime I give it a try I end up going in limbo mode and lose a lot of hours from my day hahaha.

Yeah at this point I'm hopping on the "all of them" boat. The toxic behavior is just really running rampant everywhere and makes places not very cool to hang out in anymore.
