and that I shall do.

it has turned your face into a frown.

until the day I die.

 

Life is hard,

that much I know.

 

But it is easier,

when you have a friend by your side.

I never break my word.

 

Until the final breath of death tastest my lips,

until the day that I shall pass.

 

I am going to help you,

and help you I shall.

 

For you have found your way into my heart,

and in my heart you shall stay.

 

For you are my friend,

an amazing one at that.

 

Serenity shall be happy,

or my name isn't Gary.

 

And it doesn't matter how many times you say you're fine,
