Many familiar faces can be seen, however there are two that he looks for the most as huge crowds tend to overwhelm him. So he looks around for his special somepony, @Ice Princess Silky <3 and his friend @Astralshy hoping to catch up with everyone in comforting safety of lovely company.

Silky was momentarily overwhelmed by the large crowd of people, she was nearly frozen in place until she decided to focus on the familiar ones that sooner made her realize.. wait.. everyone here is familiar if you take a moment to look and not get overwhelmed. 
 

She took a deep breath and released it as a gentle sigh before @Sir Hugsalot would bring her comfort at her side.

 

she would smile at @Astralshy

beam towards @Nitobit and then blink once at the presence of @Wizardnear him. “Oh! Wow! Welcome!” She’d then give a big hug to @Shiny Silvermoon looking around with slight suspicion that @Aticus the Adequate might be around. Hmmm 

she would then look to her backpack in case a mischievous little filly named @Silverspark184 might be around…

*As she was overloaded with joy, she suddenly felt familiar hooves wrap around her. The unicorn quickly hugged back her sister, Silky, as tightly as she could.* "Silky! I'm so glad that you could make it! Go to @Dynamo Pad with Vibrant to get a number so you can participate to the race! Mine is the number 1, since I was the first to arrive!"

Glitter Gum flies over the race with her little white balloon. She tried to camouflage herself among the clouds so as not to attract the attention of the ponies below. After all, any idea of her experiment could interfere with the results. And a scientist worth her salt will opt for the most accurate results.

The young Earth pony even thought about participating in the race... but the probability of her tripping over her own mane and disturbing the others was too high. Not to mention that Glitter Gum had her own personality that could be seen as strange by the others.


It really was safer to be alone in the balloon. Observing everypony from afar, with her splyglass. Noting behaviors and social interactions. Imagining how she should interact next year.

- GG: Oh, so much movement! I'm sure I would get a lot of data for my research - she smiled

sorry, Dynamo. this will be the only OOC post i will make:

dude, (sorry, everyone and everything is 'dude' to me lol. even inanimate objects)

anyway, dude, people are probably busy, and if i'm assuming correctly, Samurai actually lives in Japan, and if he does, then he's 13 hours ahead of me. i'm on East Coast USA. and if people are busy, they can't really post too often. just be patient. also, Samurai has been talking to both your and my characters, so he's kind of divided between us and is doing well at splitting his attention. so just keep in mind that people are busy and might not be able to post regularly, even if they have this past week. it's the weekend now, so maybe they're away and doing stuff that they couldn't do during the week

Silky! You're here! *he pulls Silky into a tight hug and kisses her cheek* I was hoping to meet you here! So many ponies have arrived! Shall we mingle a bit? 

He would still feel a bit shy in the company. Normally on meetings like this he would go with his guitar, but he believed that for this specific race it would actually slow him down. But now he feels... empty hoofed.
