I don't suppose anyone has played the new one, that being double dealing character. Probably my favorite next to perfect cherry blossom. Awesome bosses, outstanding music. And the final boss is the first one which hasn't had an average drawing to go with it. 10/10

I'm not sure i'd have the skill to play a bullet hell game much .

 

Never really heard of it that i know of though, before this thread.

 

But i've never been that great at bullet hell games, i'm not really a super skilled gamer unfortunately. 

 

Not saying its bad though, i'm sure its good, just not sure i'd have the patience to play or skill.

I was (and still consider myself) part of the extensive fandom that built itself around the series, though I was atrocious at the games themselves and I don't think I ever completed a single one, though I have a soft spot for Scarlet Weather Rhapsody because I found the fighting games funner than the straight up bullet hells (in spite of the fact that I'm even worse with that genre). My favorite character is probably Marissa, because fanon interpretation makes her super fun and cool.

I have indeed played some of the Touhou games whoever I don't really do such anymore. They were quite fun indeed, I'm just generally not into that genre of game anymore.

I love Touhou, but I'm not very good. I've played a little Perfect Cherry Blossom, and quite a bit more of 10 Desires, but even on the latter (which I'm told is one of the easier games), I still can't get past stage 4 without using a continue

Man, do I love Touhou. I currently own pretty much all of the games.

 

I beat every single game on normal mode WITHOUT using any continues. So as of right now, I'm moving onto hard mode. A couple of days ago, I actually tried hard mode for the first time (on Embodiment of Scarlet Devil) and I made it up to the final boss without using an continues.

 

I had the most trouble clearing Unidentified Fantastic Object (if you're a beginner, please don't start with this game). Most of the patterns are sort of random and, in my opinion, luck based. Also, Unidentified Fantastic Object has one of the hardest final bosses (Byakuren) and many fans agree with this. 

 

Although, the easiest game is either Ten Desires or Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (for me). Embodiment of Scarlet Devil has the easiest final boss ever! They're both pretty easy games as a whole, to be honest.

 

Also, the demo for the new upcoming Touhou game has been released! The new game is called "Urban Legend in Limbo", here are some screenshots:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, here is a video on all of the "special attacks" (it's a very short video, because the demo only has three playable characters).
