Okay, cool. As a teen, I would like to take up something athletic. So I'm guessing I'll start out as a water boy and progress up to team mascot? And I CAN get an adult job once I'm an adult, correct?

 

Exactly! I will get you a job in the Athletic career track then, and at any point in time you can switch careers. The noyl downside is you have to start over again ~

Sadly I only created two families and had to leave room for possible children ~

 

There is nothing stopping you from placing down some houses, making one off characters who wander the neighbourhood. Like NPCs. So you have more characters for the Sims to interact with.

 

And had I learned sooner, with one of the expansions, you can effectively merge two separate families into a singular house (keeping the 8 members rule) so they have different last names and seemingly just bunk together.
