murkyx 904 July 5, 2012 Share July 5, 2012 For those annoyed by the narrator's voice, they said on their website that they ARE going to redo the trailer with better footage, and a different person narrating. (They said that ideally they'd like Mic the Microphone doing it, but most likely they'll just get another person with a better voice) They've also recently released the first draft of the script to read. (Which according to it, they're adding a few more characters into the movie to give the main character a bit more of a social life, along with aging Rainbow Dash beyond show age and give her more of a mature look by the end of the movie) But man, that script alone made me cry more than the actual fanfic did. I doubt I'll survive through this movie without emptying my tear ducts a couple times. Other groups who have been working on MLD movies themselves are also fusing into this group, such as UtahBronies. So obviously this one shows the greatest possibility of completion. It may be up somewhere in a film festival but that's a close as we'll get to anything at the movies. And like most movies, the book (or whatever you consider My Little Dashie to be) will be better. That being said, i'll end of seeing it on YouTube or a website and i'll love it. And I hope since it will be popular (a prediction, but a good one since it will most likely get a post from EqD) I only hope it'll have a place to donate to charity. According to the director, this is going to be submitted to be used as his ticket into a high end film school. It will be posted for youtube, non-profit, and not intended to be public, so no film-festival or theatre will take it. (Though very likely in future brony conventions it will be shown) I'm not sure yet if they will donate anything to charity. I just hope that somebody doesn't decide to make cupcakes into a movie. Just reading that thing gave me chills, and I don't even know why I did I hate blood and gore. He added more human characters, fleshed out the story, made 'Dad' a more believable character, and basically made it a much more believable experience. So anyone who didn't like My Little Dashie just because of the narration or plotline, will probably like the movie much more. Somebody did make an animation already on cupcakes.... ;-; I...
