As a former member of the RCACC I'm curious to know if you've dealt with any sort of US cadet legion, and if so what were your experiences with them were like?

Hmmm, we really don't have anything quite like that here. I guess the closest thing would be our ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) which is one way that we train our officers while they are in a regular college. I do deal with them from time to time, they are basically half officer, half private. If done right, one can help them be very successful in the military.

Sarge, how dedicated are you to defense and all of your other duties? Are you willing to buy tickets yourself to go overseas and train yourself to use a weapon and go on a killing spree on the enemy? Also, if fighting is sure to result in victory what must you do?

As a member of the military, I would not go on my own to fight a war, that would be left to Soldiers of Fortune. I have already been given the weapons training I need to do my job. As to your second question, I believe that victory should be the reason for fighting. If you are going to ask young men to be prepared to sacrifice their lives, then you owe to them to give them the best plan in order to achieve victory.

You're even more awesome than I thought! I'm a Detroit fan for all sports and I just graduated from U. of Michigan.

Go Blue. I'm jealous. I was actually born in Muskegon, although I moved away when I was very young.

Should I tell her?

Again, only if you feel the time is right. You might want to think of a way to prime her, sort of get her ready first.

That deserves an automatic brohoof. I'm a big Celtics fan myself. :)

You know, I noticed that I didn't actually answer your question earlier. For the most part, all of the civilians I encountered in both countries were very nice. Most were just average people just trying to get on with their lives. I also found that the best way to break the ice...wave. It's human nature to smile and wave back when someone smiles and waves at you.

You actually responded to my silly question with a serious answer.

I guess I better ask a serious question. As a soldier that has fought in Afghanistan and Iraq, How do you feel about the robots that are used in war? Do you like them, dislike them? etc.

I thought those odd questions, but I was caught up in the moment. Robots, never really had any dealings with them, but if it keeps someone from being blown up....then I'm good with that.

How would I do that?

And do you like jamming to music in the kitchen? XD

Just talk to her. Maybe ask her if she watched the original show, then "discover" the MLP:FiM and point it out to her.

Music in the kitchen? Sadly, we really don't jam at all in the house. Car, however, is fair game.

Do you have any younger sisters? Otherwise, just talk to her. I don't know how your family dynamic is, Skullbuster has always known that he can talk to us. That helped him.

Only sister is older than me...

I know I can talk to them, but I think about it and get scared when I do...

Is there any way I can break it to her slowly?

The biggest issue they might have will be the "gay" question. For someone that doesn't understand the community, that is usually the first thing that comes to mind. I'm not asking, because it is none of my business. But, if you are not, then hit that first, right off the bat. Then focus on the positive things about the show that they can relate to: great graphics, great writing and characters.

Very important question - do you do your steaks rare, medium, or well done?

This question has one correct answer, one acceptable answer, and one wrong answer.

Also, get some sleep. I saw that status update

I might bring it up with her this week...

Another positive thing: I could be watching worse things.

Is that good enough?

I'm required to take English 111 and Political Science 211 (American government) in order to graduate from highs cool, but those are the only classes I have to take. So I'm going to also take an automotive engines class because I would like to become an engine mechanic for cars.

What is your most exciting experience from military service ?

Good question. It really is hard to say, I've had some times that really got my heart pumping, but it was not exciting in a fun way.

Well, that was how I meant it. I did not expect exciting in a fun way, but I was unsure what word to use. My vocabulary is still lacking and using something like ,,scary" or such did not seem appropriate. If you could share a little more info about one of these times, I'd be happy :).

That's cool. I mean there are exciting fun things that we do in the military, but it may not always translate into "fun" to someone that isn't in the military.

One instance of exciting "not fun" would be when there was a rocket attack at the base I was assigned to. Thankfully, no one was injured, but you stop thinking at that point. You just react and do what you are trained to do. It was after everything calmed down and got back to "normal" and the adrenaline was gone that I thought I was going to throw up.

That is when the emotions hit.

Sorry, you got lost in the initial flurry. It's hard to explain, but what many of you are experiencing in your lives right now as far as feeling alone or different because you might not be like others, I felt that when I was growing up and to a degree, I still do. When I sat through the panels at BronyCon, I started to feel like I belonged. When John de Lancie proclaimed "I am with you!" to the crowd, I felt he was talking to me too.

You think trying to tell your parents or friends is hard, try telling a bunch of very conservative Army guys! My family and friends aren't very open to things like this (They are VERY much Foxnews supporters!)

Plastic bag....good idea!

I'm a little late to the party but thank you for everything you've done for this country. You have earned a top rung on my respect ladder.

What's your opinion on the New Jersey State Troopers? My great-grandfather, my grandfather, my dad, and my cousin are all/have been State Troopers. Do you know anything about them? If so, what do you think? While not my first career choice, it's definitely up there as a possibility (in a few years)
