As herself, she had personality. Only that she wouldn't have a role in FiM. In G1 she was basically the protector of the ponies, along with some other humans that were pretty annoying.

Honestly... Did you see how many ponies it took to hoist up the sun stone? And Megan just carries that shit in her arms like it's literally nothing, at a full Sprint she regularly keeps pace with literal horses, we see her do some other shit like time she sling shotted herself off that giant plant, she's always got a game plan has very little fear, Megan is honestly a superhuman... Idk about how you would "portray her" but she's a beast
