I've heard this song everywhere

Because Kevin MacLeod based one of his works on it :P

OT: These "Muse" like to use motives from classical music, I notice. 7.8/10

Here's a chant from a monastery in Eastern Serbia.

I assume that he's the one that gives music for movie companies to use?

Yep. They're of the Progressive Rock genre, which mixes rock and classical music.

OT: Couldn't understand anything, but still pretty cool. 8/10

Have some Serbian trumpet, this is a folk song made by Serbs, Jews and Gypsies from a Croatian concentration camp in Jasenovac.

Judging from the music that you've put so far, the bands that you're most likely to like are probably Muse, Queen, and maybe Thirty Seconds to Mars.

OT: 8.5/10

Have some of the music that they play in Russia.

This one dates back to the Belgradian pashaluk, when Serbia was still under the Ottoman Empire
