You two, the whole point of the thread is to post unpopular opinions.

My unpopular opinion is that we need more motion control games, not less. Seriously, just when Skyward Sword takes it to a new level, nothing new comes and then we get the Wii U which does not focus on the single-handed remote shape. Where's my Nunchuk with MotionPlus-quality or PSMove-quality control? Where's PlayStation Move stuff? Kinect is also still underwhelming. It has been two full years for PSMove and nearly two years for Xbox Kinect!

The American education system focuses too much on race and gender issues. There's no need to learn about the Civil Rights movement every year or read about women rebelling against the patriarchy in every book.

Everything on Cartoon Network sucks. Adventure Time and whatever else is deemed 'good' or 'popular', included.

 

I find it rather nice, it's story and past is getting better.

Regular Show is one of my favorite shows even though it can be stupid sometimes...

I don't know why but it keeps my attention and I actually like the dumb and funny plots...

-I am for animal rights and that insects should be treated with the same value as humans

-I find the words "he" and "she" to be perverted, since the are referencing one's sex organs.

-I am repulsed by any sort of romantic or sexual relationship with anything.

-I want all (or atleast most) recreational drugs to be legalised.

-Mainstream music sucks.

-I think that curing cancer should get less finding, and that curing aging should get much more funding.

-I want minors to have equal rights as adults. I want them to be able to vote, not be forced into school, and for their parents to not have any power over them.

I really dislike people attaching the lesbian label to Rainbow Dash. If you find that connection within the character on a personal level, that's great. If the show hinted at her being a homosexual character, I would be fine that. I would respect the show. But the fact of the matter is, that is a fan interpretation, and not a fact. Sometimes a tomboy is just a tomboy. Sometimes a rainbow is just a rainbow. To assume someone is a lesbian because they are a tomboy is kind of arrogant.

 

I don't listen to his music on a regular basis, but I have heard Justin Bieber songs before, and I really don't see why people hate him so much. He can actually play a variety of instruments, so he's at least musically trained in someway, and I have honestly heard worse bands in my time. (There's also that whole thing where art forms are subjective)

 

I like Nirvana, but I think Kurt Cobain is overrated.

 

Agree on all counts. Interpreting the "rainbow" thing like we would IRL is missing the point. Whatever her preferences, Rainbow is incredibly awesome pony. Bieber is like the Tim Tebow of music, he's as popular to hate as he is to adore.

 

And as for Youtube...

And I have not yet had anyone agree with me that Youtube is slowly but surely becoming an abyss of dumbassery. So it's reassures me to see them here. And the comment pages are the worst. Don't ever post something popular, or if you do, PLEASE moderate or disable the comments. I'll give you one of about a billion examples: the German intro of MLP. You guessed it, full of Nazi and Hitler jokes. It got bad enough that the uploader promised to delete any future comments on the subject. I'm as passive as you can get, and I don't understand how people just shrug off the depressing picture of the human mind this site paints for us at times.

Kind of strange, but I don't actually consider "annoying" as a necessarily negative term. I think one can be annoying in a good way. I also think being annoying is much better than being boring and/or snobby.

I like broccoli...

I like Lyra almost more than Applejack (Lyra's fanon, that is~)...

I have nothing against R34 and the like (though I do try to avoid it if possible)...

That's about it, I guess... Man, how boring I am!

Oh, and almost every time someone says 'The book was better' about a film, I usually like the film more, or just as much as the book (If I had read it... Which I rarely do~)

And I don't really like bacon.

And my least favourite episodes of MLP:FiM are 'Sweet and Elite', 'Over a Barrel' and 'Secret of My Excess'

-Science is just another form of religion when not handled correctly
