iPad browsing

I'm currently browsing the site on my iPad, it's a first gen one, I usually browse on my PC and all is fine but sometimes I switch to this when I decide to go to bed, I've noticed that on websites that display a fair amount of images such as 4chan and ponychan the browser is incredibly sluggish, but it's doing it here too and it's really starting to irritate me.

 

Anypony else have this problem?

Its your wifi generally, i have a 3rd gen ipod, which came out before the Ipad, which means it should be slower, but I run pictures on this site and others fairly fast, the thing is have good wi-fi, a good router, got that from apple too.

 

I would say your problem is your internet.

Im sure it's not my Internet, I have a 60mb/s connection with a decent router, I've run speed tests on my iPad and gotten results of between 20-40 mb with low ping (around 10ms) and 0% packet loss. Most sites work fine and it downloads apps instantly.

 

When on sites that load slowly I also tend to get lag from typing too, multiple letters on the keyboard will be highlighted and everything will be sluggish, leading me to believe it's either a processor problem or a problem with safari.

On a side note, my iPhone 4 works fine on this site, I just don't like browsing in teeny weeny eye-strain-o-vision :/
