Games I consider nostalgic to me are...

Donkey Kong Country 1-3: Ah, the classic Donkey Kong Country trilogy. Holy buck are these amazing games. Really fun platformers, beautiful to look at, and even today they hold up amazingly well. A lot of my childhood was spent playing these.

Donkey Kong 64: Imagine Banjo-Kazooie, but way larger. Six characters, really nice to look at. Will never forget "OOOOOH BANANA".

Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie: Yes, more Rare. Why? Because back in the day, Rare was best pony developer, hands down. These games were fun, witty, and memorable. As always with Rare, the music is amazing too.

Megaman X1: This kickstarted the Megaman series for me. It's intuitive mechanics, great soundtrack, graphics, memorable gameplay will stick with me forever.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest: Thought of by many as the "black sheep" of the Final Fantasy series, this was my first RPG, and the one I beat. Sure, it's simple in gameplay and in plot, but that's part of the charm of it: You can just pick it up and play it, and you don't really need to grind. Plus, I'm pretty sure anyone who played it can agree it has a

Dragon Warrior Monsters II: Cobi's Journey: Another awesome game. You could argue that it's a "Pokemon clone", but lemme tell you something: It blows Pokemon Red-Blue-Yellow out of the water. The locations are colorful, the Dragon Quest monsters are fun and recognizable, and the breeding system lets you make yourself monsters with epic stats.

Earthbound: While I really can't call this one nostalgic for me since I only got to play it a couple years ago, I have to say that this is an amazing game. Like no other, really. It's it's own category of RPG. It's... no, my description can't do this masterpiece justice. Go play it.

The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey and Minnie: You're probably wondering what the heck this is. This is one of the many gems created in the Disney-Capcom period. It's a nice platformer starring everyone's favorite mouse (lol, sound like an ad). It's graphics stick out, and it's most fun when played 2-player.

Games I don't feel like writing a description for but still count: Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, Super Mario 74, Mario Party Final Fantasy Tactics, and the list goes on, but you probably noticed a certain fat plumber from Brooklyn dominates it.

What I'm just going to lay down here is a game I'm not sure if it would reach nostalgia, but Klonoa. I loved that game sooo so so much.

Even though I'm only 15, one of the first games that I've played, or remember playing, was Yoshi Story, the Legend of Zelda, and other N64 games with my family. Most of those N64 games that I've played over a long course I would consider nostalgic.

I have began to play computer games when I was around 8/9 or so. Stronghold Crusader, Golem (wouldn't be suprised if no one knew it), and Age of Empires (the first one) I would consider nostalgia to me as well, even though it was only about 6-7 years ago.

Ever consider revisiting the game to beat it? It's been re-released several times. :P

I had it on the Sega Collection Disc for Xbox or whatever it's called.

I've played some of Vectorman again but didn't get to Vectorman 2 again.

Pretty annoying having to manually save everytime because of a lack of check point x_x

If I still have it maybe I'll give it another go :)

several.

i'm not really in the mood to list out several games, so i'll just be generally speaking here:

several mid 90's FPS games, such as Unreal, Quake II, Half-Life, etc.

several different RPG games, mostly being Sqaure's Final Fantasy series. what tickles me just the right way has to be FF8 and Chono Trigger.

lots of games during the console wars between Nintendo and Sega, i.e. Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo period.

Playstation games. it has so many golden classics i've played and that i want to play.

I remember my brother renting it from Gamefly. Sadly, that was the first time I'd ever played Vectorman. :( It's a good game collection, though. Didn't notice any glitches, and loading saves didn't seem to take as long as it frequently does on a lot of sloppily-emulated ports. Here I am, sounding like a product placement ad.

Maybe I'll see about playing Vectorman one of these days.

Vectorman used to be a nostalgia game until I got the Sonic Gem Collection which has both 1 and 2 plus an easy to abuse save system so I didn't have to replay the entire game if I got a game over. xDDD

Yeah that save whenever you want system is quite easy to abuse xD

I find it hard to think that back then I actually played through the entire game without saves. Games were so different back then :/

I dunno if I'd say different as they were a little more cheap. A lot less games used save systems or password systems and relies purely on the fact that you can't continue where you left off if you get a game over to extend their length. Some games brutally abuse this fact to the point that they are almost impossible unless you are super pro like Battletoads and Ninja Gaiden.

This probably isn't too nostalgic, but the first game I played on a console was Pokemon Sapphire... I'm still a fan of Pokemon to this day! (hey, the only reason people accept me as a brony is that they expect me to like childish stuff!) It was a Game-boy advanced game... But you could play it on the ds and ds lite...

I am prone to leaving both short and long posts as well as with my profile feed...

I'm sure it counts.

I called Golden Sun (a GBA game that I played in late 2002 and early 2003) nostalgic back in 2007.

There's no limit to what can or can not be nostalgic, only the individual can determine what is or what is not. As I said earlier in the topic I find Twilight Princess very nostalgic. You'd think that people would laugh at me for that, but none have... to my knowledge, that is. =P

Pokemon Sapphire was released nearly 10 years ago.

Anyone remember that Jurassic Park game on Sega Genesis? You could as both a human and a raptor!

I remember we would play the shit out of that game when I went over to my friend's house back when I was 7-8 years old. It was awesome!
