  1. I love reading, and I feel like it's unfortunate that less and less people are properly appreciating books, since they now have the options of seeing inferior versions in the form of movies and television shows. Anyway, my current favourite book is The Fault in our Stars, which is surprising because I usually don't like realistic fiction at all. I'm currently making my way through all of the Sherlock Holmes books. Reading The Sign of Four right now. It's pretty good
  2. When I was a kid, Redeads from Ocarina of Time freaked me out. Even if I was just watching a sibling play, I'd run out of the room if I saw a redead. They still freak me out, admittedly, but nowhere near as badly. Now I'm scared by the enemies from Amnesia (any of them, they're all equally horrible), and the ultimate chimaera from Mother 3 (but to a lesser extent than the Amnesia enemies), because you can't fight any of them. You have to be helpless and run away, which is way scarier to me than any battle could ever be.
  3. Granted, but it doesn't have an engine. I wish I was a better writer.
  4. But after all that mourning, will they remember you? My close friends would remember me for a few years at least, possibly more. My family probably woudn't forget me, although the details about my personality would fog up and fade. Will your online friends from other continents remember about you? Nope. For what you will be remembered? Having above average intelligence? I haven't really had the time to leave much else to be remembered by. What kind of achievements you will be remembered by your friends, or your colleagues? As I said, I haven't achieved much of anything, except for being smart. They'd probably remember me for my lack of achievement. For wasted potential, so to speak. In your short life right now, did you do enough to leave your mark on this Earth? Definitely not. Not that I mind leaving a small mark, but I don't want to leave behind nothing at all.
  5. Mine start later this week, and I need all the luck I can get.
  6. Man, I used to be OBSESSED with spongebob as a kid. I still like the older episodes that I grew up with, some of them were genuinely funny. I feel like the show should have ended a long time ago, though. It's outlived itself.
  7. I have a half dozen or so living in my bedroom, and I quite like them, so long as they don't try to make webs all over my door, or crawl on me while I sleep. But yeah, they're pretty cool. I like the way they look, and they eat any flies or other small bugs that find their way into my fortress of solitude.

    gaming Girl gamers.

I am a girl, and I enjoy video games, but I abhor the phrase 'girl gamer.' It makes gamers that also happen to be female sound like some sort of rare and exotic breed, which we all have to gawk at. Which is ridiculous.
  9. I personally fear a slow and painful death. I'm totally okay with the fact that one day I will die, but being put through long-lasting agony before I perish is terrifying to me. Also, big, barking dogs. I've had a traumatic experience involving one, and I really don't want to repeat it.
  10. Episode 1 was my first. I was hooked right away, although I denied it until I was a few more episodes in.
  11. Um, I'm really fond of the whole steampunk movement. It goes hand-in-hand with my fascination with Victorian Britain (I'm a really big history nerd, I'm even pursuing it academically), which I harboured long before I discovered steampunk.
  12. If I had to change my name, I'd probably just adopt my middle name, Jane/Janette. I've always loved the way the names Janette and Jane sound. simple and sweet
  13. 1. Eternal youth/longevity, because I want to live a very, very long time, and see the world grow and develop (and hopefully not destroy itself) but I wouldn't want to live forever, because living forever would be horribly boring after a while. 2. The power to grant wishes (including my own ) 3. A secluded, remote personal paradise in which to live.

  15. YAY, CANADIAN BRONIES! I freaking LOVE Canada Cambridge, ON here
  16. I'm atheist, although I was technically raised protestant, and I was baptised. My family just never went to church or anything. In fact, I didn't know much of anything about religion until grade 6 or so, when I met my best friend, a devout Christian.
  17. I love Pokemon so much! It's probably my favourite video game series. Favourite Pokemon: Gengar. I never liked gengar at first, but I just kind of grew attached to it after a while. He's awesome I also like purrloin and liepard quite a lot, but only really because purrloin was the first shiny I ever caught, which made me really like the lil' kitty My favourite types are ghost and bug. I don't know why, I used to hate those types most of all, but I've grown to appreciate them.
  18. Puzzled, because I love puzzles, riddles and the like, and Pony because I like ponies, I guess?
  19. Right now I'm still in high school, so I have a long LONG way to go, but I'm aiming to become a historian, or an archivist.
  20. I've got two cats, one grey and one black, named Shadow and Smudge
  21. um... Hi? And with that, I bid you adieu...I guess.
