Broccoli 127 January 6, 2012 Share January 6, 2012 Not sure if this is new or not, anyways... Twas a typical day, and I was rewatching MLP, and came across this. The first pony that caught my I was Lyra Heartstrings (is this what she's called?). Her turquoise colored coat made her easy to spot, 3 times... Same goes with some other ponies in the audience. I noticed this in other large groups of ponies too. I think Lauren Faust did this to save money on animations. I just thought this was kind of funny. -"My little pony, not yours!" They may be so unnoticeable that outlandish things like this are undetected. Is that what I think it is? if you pay even more attention, you'll notice that the cutie mark will appear and disappear numerous times during that scene, to my knowledge. Seriously though, it's just a way for them to cut costs on animation.
