How open are you about ponies?

Two friends know and that's because they too watch the show. Outside of that, I try to keep covert but usually slip up. Though no one has gotten the references, yet...

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

I'm pretty open now...but the only person who knows is my best friend. I would love to share my love on Twitter, but the RP crowd I rolled with are so damn stuck up and narrow-minded.

I say pony quotes, such as "20% cooler", all the time. Actually going up to people and being all "Heyy I'm a brony and Applejack is best pony", no. I will admit that I am a brony to close friends, though.

And I'm getting a Rainbow Dash bookbag for school next year.

I'm open with it with my friends, though they tease me a lot for it since I'm the only brony in the group. I just use pony quotes and bursh them aside and enjoy every minute of it. As for family, only my younger brother knows. No intention of sharing it with my parents, not because they would be mad, but because they would pull the "How old are you?" and other guilty stuff which I really would like to avoid.

I occasionally discuss it with some of my friends, even if they don't watch mlp. However they're chill enough to be able to appreciate nearly any kind of conversation so they don't get all irritated like some others might.

I have no fear in letting people know I like a TV show. I wear pony shirts everywhere I go and carry a Pinkie Pie keychain. I don't try to hide anything from anypony, I haven't a care in the world for other people's trivial opinions.

Ah, I have a Pinkie Pie keychain too.

S.V.R. Stop. Violent. Recreation,

I know it's tuff but let's all try to stop playing violent videogames, violent TV, violent thinking, and just violence in general.

Put "SVR" in your signature if you support Stop Violent Recreation!

I'm very open about it. I have never cared to hide any of my obsessions. People know I collect Pokémon. Some of them think I'm totally nuts, but no one likes me any less for it.

I dunno if I already answered this, but oh well...

I'm pretty open - I don't really hide it, but I don't have any brony clothing to state "HELLO I LIKE MLP FIM" everywhere I go. But if the topic comes up, I'll tell that I watch it. I don't see a problem in there.

Some members of my family already know that I watch and some friends. If someone asks me if I watch the show than I will say yes. But, if I heard someone talking about I won't really go into their conversation.

i feel i am the most open person when it comes to my bronyness. i constantly blast it in the halls, sometimes i catch myself humming the songs in public. i also have a fluttershy *yay* shirt and both of my ipods have rainbow dash wallpapers. (and no to all the people out there who think im socially awkward)

and when people ask me wtf im doing. i tell them why i do what i do (but you guys all know haters gonna hate) my 3d design final was a half scale clay sculpture of rainbow dash (which i proudly paraded through the halls) yea i'd say i'm a pretty open brony XD /)

I'm pretty much a closet brony, I switch out of a pony tab I'm on whenever someone comes closeby. Then again, I've accidentally left pony stuff open when they've walked by my computer and almost half of my 500 or so screensaver images are pony images, and they've never said anything to me so maybe I have nothing to worry about.

I'm very open. I'm one of the few people to use my laptop to take notes at my school and the front/back/shiny part/not sure exactly what it's called is covered in MLP stickers. I have used this to convert several people. I have also randomly asked people if they watch the show and I encourage them to watch it. I don't really care what other people think of me in that sense because I am also a yoyoer, which I have gotten far worse remarks about yoyoing. Also, when I have had free time in class I look at My Little Face When, MLP Forums, and EqD with tons of people watching.

It's all worth it, I have converted tons of people, who have converted other people, and it's awesome. I gotta start a MLP Club when I get to high school but there would probably be tons of haters. Maybe when I'm a senior or something haha.

Currently, not much outside my very small circle of immediate family and close friends. But in another week or so, when I get two of these three epic shirts (haven't decided which RD one to choose), I will be disregarding other people's thoughts, and acquiring pony pride. As well as a 20% increase in epicness.

I'm usually pretty darn open about it. I actually try to drop hints just in the hopes it will come up in conversation. (Ever get the feeling the closest brony to you is two states away?) However, around one of my younger brothers I clam up like a closet brony. He hates us, HAAAAAAATES us! He says I'm not a brony! I don't know what's more appalling. His hatred of everything pony related, or the fact that I somehow don't apply to what constitutes a brony to him! South Park actually gives a pretty good idea of the situation.

Cartman:

Kyle, I'm sorry for all those times I called you a stupid Jew. I didn't mean it. You're not a Jew.

Kyle:

Yes I am, Cartman, I am a Jew!

Cartman:

No, don't be so hard on yourself.

Substitute "Jew" for "Brony" and it's like that. To him, brony is an insult, not a varied group of people linked by a common interest. (It should be noted I'm not a huge fan of South Park but what are you gonna do when they put on the movie in the car?)

I'm new to the herd, I'm open about everything if you want to know just ask and expect an anwser. I used to have confidence problems. So I worked on it with a couple of my friends, and now I openly hand out MLP posters at the mall. Really helped me out, I did get hated on but I don't see the need to be disrespectful back. Just because I'm secure with my sexuality and MLP is an amazing show. I want to raise awarness.

Interesting topic, i would like to say that sadly, i'm not very open about it. Even then, i hum winter wrap up and quote it to my parents, who really aren't interested. Maybe it's my upbringing that makes me nervous. My parents do know, they walked into me once, and last christmas they asked if i wanted 'all pony toys'. I wasn't a fan of 'toys', but pony ones would be displayed proudly. I said "That's ok if its not gen 3".

At christmas i got what was planned. No ponies. Of course, i knew it was going to happen.

I'm open if somebody asks me about it. However, I never bring up the topic, simply because I find there are much more important/interesting things to talk about with friends/clanmates.

Tl;dr

I'll talk if you ask. Otherwise, nay.
