Let me just make this clear, I love this song. It's one of the only rap songs I like and one of my favourites of all time. It's the lyrics of the song that make me cringe. They're just so... Dark. An amazing emotional rap nonetheless.

Yes, Blood On the Dance Floor is freaking horrible. So is every Katy Perry song I've heard. Actually I hated California Girls until the Equestria Girls version came out. But now I must bring out the real offenders, the two songs that were guaranteed to play at least once a day on the radio at my old (and lousy) job...

Why?! Why does anyone like this? I don't think it's beautiful, I don't think it heralds a new style of pop music (not that I'd care), and it doesn't make me cry like some pseudo-scientific study about it says it will. It's a damn annoying song. But at the very least Adele seems to possess natural singing talent, unlike some other big pop stars out there.

If I hear this song played one more time, I may very well resort to physical violence on a random non-brony. Everything I could possibly hate about a pop song is present here. Wanky male vocals, cheesy lyrics, overly sanitized production. I also like to bring up one question for anybody who thinks it's so genuine and so inspirational: do you realize how much money these guys have made off a song about being poor? "These times are hard." Are you serious?! You guys have a hit song out there playing ad nauseum in every dingy grocery store, every clunky elevator and every dentist's waiting room from here to Frog Balls, Arkansas. Don't tell me how hard these times are!

Honestly...I can tolerate these horrible songs...although anything by Rebecca Black or Justin Bieber makes me cringe since I know of a friend, an 18 year old guy I'm friends with loves these two and...just, never...stops, talking to me about them...
