Personally, I like both but I chose Vinyl Scratch because I am mostly into techno/Electronica and she's a techno pony, but I also like Octavia because I like classical.

I will always have a soft spot for Vinyl.She was my favorite pony back in the days when I just began to watch MLP.I also realized how much I loved this fandom after watching the Vinyl Scratch tapes.

To be honest, I don't like VInyl or her style of music at all. I can relate to Octavia much more.

Octavia has the better design imo, but Vinyl Scratch had the coolest appearences. I like Octavia a little more than Vinyl though, but neither are no where near my favorite character since in the end they're both just background ponies.

Gotta put it up for my girl Octavia! She's been my favorite since I first saw her. If she got a speaking part in season three I would go through the roof! One thing I've noticed on these forums as of late is the increase of Vinyl and Octavia threads. I've said it before and I'll always say it. I am biggest Octavia fan.
