Natural Disasters Increasing In Frequency - Hundreds of Lives Lost

Sunday November 4 - Today is a tragedy, as reports from the Canterlot Town Watch confirm the deaths of of 3-year old colt Winter Gumdrop and 4-month old filly Snowberry Flake in a spontaneous wildfire accident. Their family mourns their loss today, two more lives taken in a recent string of natural disasters that has claimed the lives of many, and stumped scientists around Equestria.

Said lead researcher of the Manehattan Institute of Weather, Electric Spark, "This string of unfortunate fires is undoubtedly caused by a recent dryness in Equestria's atmosphere. The Crystal Mountains, I hypothesize, are blocking the moisture from reaching all of Equestria - and these raging wildfires are the result of such a mess."

He later retracted his statement when news spread of the recent tsunami that devastated Fillydelphia three days ago.

Rules for the RP:

Welcome to MLP Forum's first community RP, designed to bring everyone together, beginner or veteran, and hopefully have a blast roleplaying with both your friends and stranger you don't know. Everyone is allowed in the roleplay, which is mostly free-form type. While I do have an overall story plot in mind, I let you (for the most part) decide what you want to do. As long as you don't call down a meteor on Canterlot or summon the Unicornean Army to battle, or something drastic like that, you may do whatever you wish.

Your rescue team "group" depends on your application, but to ensure you meet as many people as possible, groups get swapped every week or so. So don't worry, it won't get too stale.

Please try not to flood the roleplay - it's fine if your entire team is online and roleplaying, but if you guys fill twenty pages with your roleplay overnight, you might just discourage everypony else who has to read through it.

Well, so far, statistics are 8 for Ponyville (That'd be two groups), 4 for Manehattan (1 group), and 5 for Canterlot (1 group).
