It depends entirely on the situation. Does Kratos have all of his weapons? If so, does Master Chief has all of his? Does a target locater count as a weapon? I think an orbital bombardment would leave even Kratos in pretty poor shape.

 

Are they in an enclosed arena? Obviously Kratos would kick ass there. What about a big open battlefield? Can Chief slam a magazine of sniper rounds into Kratos's head before he even sees him?

 

And does Kratos get to fight his way out of the underworld if Chief kills him? Because then, well, its going to be pretty one sided.

what's a solar flare? I havent really played halo since halo 2, and a little bit of 3, and I couldn't find it on the halo wiki.

 

I looked up cryo bomb. does master chief get back up, or is it just him vs kratos? cuz if it is, he can't call for a cryo bomb strike.

 

A solar flare was an Equipment in Halo 3. It can blind anything in it's radius for 10 seconds

 

I don't see how a bio-augmented human vs. a god is even a fair fight.

Now if they can be killed by swords and other sharp weapons i doubt they whould survive guns, such as Rocket Launchers and Spartan laser, and there are alot more from what that came from.

master cheif has to use technology, kratos dose not

 

I don't see the use of technology as a weakness... I mean if we want to point fingers Kratos uses magic.

 

We are truely comparing apples to oranges here. One is from Science Fiction while the other is based on mythology...

It's hard to compare the two.

 

I'd have to give it to Chief though. His ranged weapons could probably take Kratos down. Chief also has an energy sword if Kratos get's close. Chief's biggest strength though is his armor and shielding making him nearly invincible.

 

Technological advancement wins against supernatural powers. After all Science is the reason why magic is now deemed non-existent!

 

Still 1000 bits says Rainbow takes the Chief in 10 seconds flat!

Okay Rainbow Dash vs Chief would be a funny fight but Chief still wins...

 

Although Vickie i have to say that Krato's weapons are contained with magic which could be a reason they died by Kratos...

On the other hand Most of the gods including Kratos relied on brute strength ( Brawns ) MC could easily trick them into their own fate ( Brains ) Plus if MC gets cornered he could toss a Solar Flare along with a good o'l fashion Active camo & Energy Sword combo & last i checked, Kratos can't detect Invisible enemies...but it will take more than 1 stab/slash to take down Kratos

Okay, one more thing: kratos varies greatly in power. Is this normal, human kratos? Is this god kratos? That's need to know info.

 

As a mortal, I still maintain that kratos could easily take bullets and still kick ass. The amount of sword strikes, arrows hits, explosions, and blows from giants wielding hammers bigger than he is he can take before dying is quite a lot. He can block a hell of a lot with his blades. The golden fleece absorbs energy and sends it back at whatever shot it, so covenant weapons and Spartan lasers are mostly useless.

 

In short, master chief has nothing can take kratos down quickly. The inky way I see him winning is if kratos starts a like mile away and MC just snipes him before he can get close enough.

 

 

 

And really, as has been said, this a bad match up anyway. The power scale in GoW is much higher than in Halo. It's like trying to debate Naruto vs Ichigo (if you're a fan of those mangas). Sure, naruto is really powerful in his own manga, but the power levels in bleach are so much higher, the top character in naruto would be a wimp in bleach.

 

Master chief is a super human who uses guns to fight aliens who are just as mortal as humans. Kratos is a super human who becomes a god and fights other gods; beings that can level cities on a whim, and are completely invincible to any sort of non-godly weapon. Remember, Kratos always had to get some special thing (such as pandoras box) in order to have the power to even harm a god.

For comedic purposes, I say Q-Bert shows up in the middle of the battle and kills both of them with its wtf-ness.

 

Objectively speaking, I think Master Chief would win. Despite Kratos being all powerful, he's not a God. Master Chief fell through the atmosphere, landed, and when he woke up he just asked for his rifle to keep kicking ass. I am no fan of either Microsoft or Sony, but after playing the games, it's obvious that Master Chief starts with all his abilities at bay, while Kratos suffers from the Samus Aran disease.

you forgotten that the gods were killed by not ordainry weapons. pretty much every weapon that kratos have was forged by a god. if an ordanry weapon could not kill a god what makes you think a freaking bullet would make a diffrence? if they could die by the means of just being stabbed on the heart by a stick then they would lose to halo but lets they could be killed by a gun. they still have POWERS! zues will destroy every battleship there is! hellos controls the sun! and kratos is just to powerful to be killed because he has the power of pandora on his side! and he happens to have hades soul! he can come back to life! therefore halo is screwed if they ever cross paths with kratos!
