How Do You Write Your Numbers?

I know its an odd question.

But yes I would like to know how you write them.

 

For example, some people draw a line through their seven.

Examples below make it easier for one to say.

I usually draw my 1 with the base, the 2 like a backwards s, the 3 like the second one up there, the 4 like the second 4, the 5 like an s, the 6 like the 2nd 6, the 7 without the stick, the 8 like an 8, the 9 like it's typed,

I draw my numbers the way they are in the Arial font( except for 1 and 4, picture included below). But not that neat, I have pretty bad handwriting in general but it's worse when I write numbers because my lowercase L and 1 look identical.

 

Pictured: How I write 1 and 4. Also while I don't always do it I sometimes write 5 like an S. Which does get really annoying. I swear I need calligraphy lessons.

Short answer: messy. I don't want to waste my time just writing down the numbers so my strategy is to write them in the most efficient way possible. This means no extra little lines or flourishes. I'd rather be solving the question than worrying about the presentation style of my variables and constants.

3 as a backwards, curvy E

4 as a upside down, lowercase H

5 as your first example

6 as your second

7 with no line

8 in any way or form possible

9 as your second

0 as a O.

 

But I like how you draw 0's.

Here's how I write them. I always just try to write them as fast as possible so there is often some small differences between each number I write.

Back when I was younger, my handwriting was horrible so a few years back I trained myself to fix that problem and now for the most part I have a different handwriting. So anyways, here's some numbers and letters and whatnot for the sake of the topic. This is about as accurate as it gets, only difference is I wrote it on my tablet not paper.

9 not even close to that, mine like a backwards "P"

For some reason, I always write my 4's like they look when you type them. 4. I guess it's to prevent it from looking like a u, I don't remember why I started writing them like that.

I actually quite like my handwriting, it's nice but sometimes people struggle to read it. We don't get taught to write cursive in England so it's just kinda fruity looking.

Well, I wrote lowercase and unusual letters, and numbers 1-9 WITH a stylus in Adobe Ideas, click for a better quality picture! EDIT- I cross my uppercase and lowercase z's, I developed that in fourth grade...

1: I normally draw this simply as a straight vertical line, but I add the little nub at the top and a base if it's next to actual letters.

2: I draw this with the little cursive-ish loop at the bottom left.

3: I draw this normally... I think...

4: I draw it the way this font shows it.

5: When I draw this, it normally looks like an S just because I'm really sloppy.

6: Not sure of any fancy ways to draw this.

7: Without the little dash in the middle. I've never used that.

8: Derp.

9: Normally don't draw this with a curved bottom.

0: Without the line through it.

 

Guess I'll upload a picture of it.

Yes, my handwriting is godawful. I make up for it with typing speed.

This was written in Paint with my mouse, so this isn't the most accurate representation of my handwriting, but it gives an idea of the general shape of the numbers. I sometimes write my 1 like when I want to avoid confusion.
