I've been watching someone else play Amnesia for the past month. It's a slow process because both of us get too scared to play more than 45 minutes at a time. Despite being made of high octane nightmare fuel, it's a really great game that makes great use of the "nothing is scary" theory. Love it!

I've got it, and had it for a year, I have not played much though.

I played a little bit of it and I didn't like it, I didn't find it scarey because I only played through the start and I expected it to be scarey so all the scary things in it weren't scarey and it was extremely slow paced, I found my self doing almost the same thing over and over again.

Anywho~ If you know of the Justine DLC, someone had changed the suitor's voices to the voices of Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash. And Justine as Twilight Sparkle. It's really creepy. It's up on youtube if you wanna see it, it's titled "My Little Amnesia". Creepiest thing ever. *shiver*

I've never been good with scary movies, games, or anything scary in general, but after talking with some friends I decided to try it out. As much as it scared me, it really was fun to play, even though I didn't make it anywhere near the end. I do know how it ends since I've watched Day[9] play through it, but I'd still like to play through it to the end myself someday.

i play it. but an easy remedy of mine with this is to just have the russian trollolololololol song playing in repeat in the background. it cracks me up to see the monster walking to the beat of it.

I haven't played it but I watched people play it. You still get equally scared though. Hoping that the grunt won't see the player so they won't scare the dukey out of you.

I would like a weapon so then I could buy the game and shoot all the grunts down. Wish someone could make a weapons mod. :/

you spend the whole game in a castle! you would think the main character would be smart enough to pick up a mace or sword or something

i think you can actually throw barrels at them, but it just stuns them
