Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle Griffonized

I'm rather new at drawing, and joined Deviantart about two months ago with a group of friends who wanted to get into it as well. I was bored one day and thought it might be cool to see what some of the ponies looked like if they looked the same, but at the same time different. Hope you like!

Pony racism aside, these are quite good. I specifically like the Twilight one. Now someone only has to griffonize Trixie.

Very interesting. I like it! Haven't seen good griffonized mane 6 in awhile. Nice clear lines and good design. The only very minor problem is the wobbly lines in some places. Otherwise, it's perfect! I heartily recommend doing the other mane 6.

What a remarkable idea! I do like how you did this, the proportions in particular are very good. I like the way you incorporated the manes and tails too.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely considering doing the other four of the mane six, though next on my list was Trixie. Got all inspired by the newer episode with her in it. 

 

Yeah, wobbly lines have been a bother since I've started drawing. I think it might have to do with me using a new tablet to draw? They seem to be less-wobbly when I do the outlines on paper, but when I translate it to the computer they seem to end up that way. It might just be something to do with being new, or that I'm not making big enough strokes at once. Well, in either case, I'll work hard to improve.

I'm not hating or nothing but i came in here thinking whaaaat.... and yeah wow.. no... just... nope... I don't know what to think but that sure isn't my bag of tea.

Very nice artwork! I'd like to see a Fluttershy one sometime too, please. Or even all of the mane six, and possibly some backgrounds like Vinyl Scratch or Octavia? *nudge nudge wink wink* c: You're a very good artist by the way!

Pretty solidly executed works here I think the twilight picture holds up particularly well, as the grip on the pen is stronger. Overall, nice work

I don't know what is is, maybe the angle the RD one is in, but it just looks weird. Probably the line on the beak. Just looks - weird to me. But the Twilight one looks nice.

However, the angle that Rainbow Dash is at seems a bit awkward to me... not sure why. Keep at it though

Neither look natural.. but hey griffons don't look natural to me. Especially in a pony show. Rainbow Dash's griffinization looks better than Twilight's to me. Great idea and great drawing though!

Thanks for all the support everyone! I suppose that's just another reason to love MLP. The fanbase is awesome! I'll definitely think of making more of these in the near future!
