Weird stuff you do that nobody else does

given that there are >7 billion people in the world youre probably not the only person to do something, but lets hear it. anything you do that could be considered uncommon/strange to other people.

ill start:

 

i never use my pillows at night. i just bury my head beneath them and cover them with my blanket.

 

anytime i see lines on the ground and nobody else is around, ill jump and spin 270/450 on and off of them like a skier grinding a rail

 

when im skiing alone i sing/talk to myself

 

this ones kind of hard to explain, but i imagine 45 degree lines coming off of everything that has a corner. ill imagine where two lines off of different corners intersect and i make sure not to walk on them. the whole thing is kind of like an imperfect grid on the ground.

 

if im ever in a situation where i feel awkward or i feel like im being judged i snap my fingers at my sides and bop my head with them trying to keep a beat

 

i constantly "listen" to music/instrumentals in my head and i bop my head with the beat (sometimes ill drum my fingers on a desk too). i get some pretty weird looks from people when they realize i dont have any headphones in haha

Also I talk to myself /a lot/. Except I refer to myself as being 2 people. So if someone hears me they ask "Uh. Who are you talking to?".

Whenever I go up or down stairs, I count the number of steps. When I have to go up/down the same stairs again, I'll start at a number that ensures, that the last step will be number 24, or if that's not possible, an even number.

Well I always read my posts out loud after posting them.

I respond to characters in video games or tv out loud.

Sometimes I'll sniff my dirty laundry before putting it into the washing machine.

Sometimes I'll bring a video camera to a store and record myself making commentary on the things I see there.

I talk to myself.

While some of these aren't exactly that uncommon, I consider them at least slightly outside the norm.

 

• I talk to myself quite a bit, whether I'm debating with myself or trying to talk myself through some kind of error. People sometimes look at me strangely for it, especially when I appear to be arguing with myself, but it really helps reason out some of my more silly ideas.
• I have different character roles I can put myself into when needed. It's like acting, only for real life circumstances.
• Sometimes I air conduct to my favourite music with a pencil, stylus or ruler.

Anything i do has to be an even number. Especially if it is a factor of 4. Like for instance, if I tap on a table for no real reason, I have to do it 4 times.  Symmetrical things have a similar effect.

Weird Stuff That I Do That Nobody Else Does:

 

- I laugh out loud if I have a funny thought or just for no reason at all. 

 

- I'm terrified of frisbees. If a frisbee comes in my direction I run for cover. I'm quite amusing to see during a frisbee game in college. 

 

- In the morning when it's freezing and i'm in bed I stick my hands in my pants because for some reason I'm unaware of my pants are warmer then my bed sheets (and i usually have 3 different bed sheets on me).

 

- I talk out loud when I'm trying to figure something out. My parents think I'm talking to myself when I'm actually just thinking out loud not talking to myself.   

 

- I have the ability to get behind people without them realizing. My old girlfriend thought I had the ability to teleport (obviously not true, I just don't make a fuss when I walk). 

 

- I use my Skull Candy headphones as earmuffs in the could since they're so warm.

Does talking to characters on videos games count as if I'm a youtube commentator?(I guess technically I did do youtube commentarys. so maybe its that )

 

I sit like a bird sometimes(Like with my legs perched kinda. and I don't find it that uncomfortable.. lol.)

 

Well I look up songs on youtube then sing them(Even though I can't really sing.) And sing them in my room sometimes.

I always think pessimistic due to the fact that when I think optimistic I fear that things are going to go bad. I guess I don't like having my expectations let down.

More things I do:

-Sometimes I will just randomly think of embarrassing things I have done in the past and I'll get all awkward for a few minutes.

-Like I said, subtle headbanging in class. Usually "listening" to dubstep in my head.

-I organize files and documents on my computer like crazy. Yet, I usually leave my desk all cluttered an messy.

-If I get a brofist, I'll go to that persons page, find one of their recent posts, and then brofist them (sometimes. If I'm not feeling lazy).

-I watch episodes of MLP in order from release date. Even if I'm watching two episodes that have more episodes in between them, I'll watch the one that came out first.

-I organize my iPhone apps as hardcore as my computer.

These two. I do both of these. In particular the ability to behind people. Without even trying, I somehow always manage to sneak behind people. Makes me think others are just really loud walkers. I'm not even particularly stealthy, being 6'6 and rather clumsy, but still manage to do it. Maybe I'm just a born ninja.

While I don't do fire poi, I do fire contact staff and fire devil sticks. Thats another person I've met on here that does circus skills stuff.
