Times you find yourself quoting MLP

I tend to respond to questions with yep and nope, but I have for years. I just find it much more funny now .

 

I also have had a habit of saying okey dokey for a long time, but since watching MLP I have a strange compulsion to add Loki on to the end of it. It's pretty weird.

I say "Eeyup" often to almost anybody who asks me a question where my answer would be yes.

 

I say "I just don't know what went wrong" when I screw something up.

 

I say "Don't use your fancy mathematics to muddy the issue" sometimes when people try to explain to me what I did wrong. Yea.

 

I say "What fun is there in making sense?" when I, erm... don't make sense. 

 

And lastly, I sometimes say "Time is ticking, Twilight. Time... is... ticking!" out loud when I am stressed out.

The quotes I use from MLP, is

'' Needs to be 20 percent cooler.''

'' Eeyup.''

''Right here, at the Gala.''

''This is whining.''

''This is going to be so awesome.''

 

Those quotes are simply.. Awesome.

i cook in a restaurant and... and i'm always saying it needs to be about 20% cooler...referring to letting the food cool down a little lol. no one gets it but me.

I have used "Eeyup!" quite a few times. The funniest time was when my friend Kat, who has never even thought of watching MLP was like, "Did you just say Eeeyup? Why?"

Also, whenever someone says, "This doesn't make any sense!" (Which actually happens a whole lot more than you would think) I reply, "Make sense? Why, what's the fun in making sense?"

I'm looking for a time I can use, "Of all the bad things that could happen, this is the worst. Possible. Thing!"

I say okie dokie loki a lot too (which my friend Kat also got confused about). I also want to say 20% cooler at some point!

My most common ones are Eeyup and Okie Doki Loki.

I did once say the pinkie promise "cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye" on pure instinct when someone asked me if I promise to keep something a secret. The person had a confused look in their face so I preceded to say "you should have seen the look in your face, priceless".

Occasionally, barely, when just hanging out, I may at random just say a sentence said in the show that fits like a slightly-off puzzle piece into the conversation. I think I've only done this a few times, not that often.

 

EDIT: Oh wait, not I remember! The MLP quote I've used most is "What fun is there in making sense?" Because, well... it just fits so well into happenings when things make no sense.
